what a moronic thing to say

the ref gave it for endangering an opponent but the opponent ran into him so it does not qualify

Should Coloccini be sent off for booting Demba Ba in the face and breaking his nose....Should the keeper have been at least booked in the first half for punching a player and missing the ball?
I think it's very dangerous what Crouch did, but I have no idea what the answer is.
Report geos1 March 5, 2013 9:56 PM GMT
get over it.it was a red,you lost.who cares about crouch on saturday.you can compare descisions all day long.it was a bit unfortunate but not that harsh

Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir was taking charge of his third Manchester United match tonight. His previous two passed off without attracting much attention - a defeat against Athletic Bilbao in last season's Europa League after a Champions League draw with Benfica in 2011.

However the Turk sent off Chelsea captain John Terry against Barcelona in last year's semi-final second leg at the Camp Nou, and dimissed Mario Balotelli in Manchester City's 1-0 win over Dinamo Kiev in 2011.

As I said earlier, that ref in his last 4 european or international games has sent of 3 players out of the four cards he has dished out.
Cahill
Gerrard
Nani

No not at all, just shows how we play football in the UK is totally different to the continent, it is more physical and theirs is no contact and rolling about

Report themover March 5, 2013 11:19 PM GMT
well it is true there are different rules in different leagues, but if you look at the Balotelli one it's not dissimilar to tonights Nani one (maybe Balo's bit more of a follow through) so if teams are preparing for a particular ref style they could have shown them that one!
