I wouldn't like to be Racing's manager Luis Zabeldia if they lose tonight. The Racing fans, quite rightly, have been outraged by their team's performance in the Clasico against fierce rivals Independiente last weekend. Not only did they lose 2-0 but they barely had a shot on goal all day long and the players' attitude was shocking. Defeat to Lanus tonight will probably be the end for Zabeldia. And he doesn;t have his troubles to seek. Hauche's gone on loan, Centurion is missing the rest of the season, Farina is still injured while Cahas and Villar are both suspended. Lanus have had a perfect start to the season 3 from 3. They struggled to beat Velez's reserves 1-0 last week. But I think the score is better than it looks as Velez have the strongest squad in Argentina and their reserves will be no one's mugs. Lanus have a few injuries in the defence tonight but I'm not sure Racing are best placed to take advantage. Racing at home will always be dangerous but their appears to be something wrong the attitudes of the players. They stank last week. Lanus are flying and will fancy their chances. I thought Lanus would be favs to win this game and I'm very surprised to see them joint favs. I have had a decent bet on Lanus DNB as I can't see Racing beating them tonight.
