Ridiculous and desperate English media attempting to create a superstar prematurely. Ya just gotta laugh!

He is the perfect example of the weakness of the PL. All the top players are in La Liga, so they try to hype one into life. This guy is good, but he's no superstar. He will probably score on Sunday against a tactically inept Arsenal team.

THREE seasons, some people have no rationalizing skills.

Certainly too early to be comparing him to Ronaldo and Messi... but who else have they got to write about?

Tbh, other than his goal, he didn't stand out today.

I don't agree with the OP, his form is so good I don't think the media are over hyping him.

It's only a tiny minority of fools who compare him to Ronaldo and Messi.  Bale scored his 50th goal for Spurs yesterday.  Messi scored his 50th goal of the season on Saturday.

Max Stirner, Bale won PFA footballer of the year in 2010/11. He may well win it again this season. He was excellent last season too. Therefore he certainly has had 3 seasons of outstanding performance even if he's now reaching new heights. He's an outstanding player. Not in the class of Messi and Ronaldo but in the next tier of players imo.
