I laid Arsenal at 2.16 this morning and I'm going to lay them again as I still feel they are too short. They looked absolutely knackered playing at altitude in midweek. They had two men sent off and lost a late goal in the 2-1 defeat to The Strongest in La Paz. But for the last half an hour of the game Arsenal looked as if their players couldn't put one foot in front of the other. They were out on their feet.
And boy has that game taken it's toll. Bragheiri and Ortiz will be missing from this game while Carbonero and Lugercio are suspended. So Arsenal have 4 regulars missing from their team tonight. The only plus side is that Lopez will be back for Arsenal for this game.
Putting aside the La Paz experience for a second, Arsenal needed an injury time goal to get a point off Union last weekend in the League. Now Union are the worst side in the top flight in Argentina. So Arsenal have had a troubled start to the season.
Rafaela got off to a great start last weekend with a 3-0 home win against Racing. But let's be honest Racing were awful in the game and two of the goals were penalty kicks. Rafaela also progressed in the Copa Argentina during the week but it came at a cost as defender Bovagilo suffered a serious injury and will be missing for a long time. He will be a big loss for them.
Rafaela's away form is average to say the least but they will never ever get a better opportunity. Arsenal will be jaded plus they are missing important players.
These teams have faced each other twice in 2012 and both games ended in draws, 2-2 and 1-1.
Lay Arsenal. I couldn't back them with counterfeit money tonight.

Informative reading...cheers

I was pointed in the direction of this game for a home lay (like you suggested) but thats one hell of a market drift!

Is this the worst kept secret of the night?.....I'm on regardless with a lay of @ 2.26

why would anyone give you abuse for an informative write up on a league that is (generally) not so well known?

Over 0.5 @ 1.16 for moi but over 1.5 looks tempting @ 1.7 too. I'm not going to use my Man UTD profit too though, got burnt too many times.
