Had an in-different week with a few in-play bets landing and a few missing but all wins and losses are recorded on the facebook page for those that are interested. I post all my recommendations and reasoning on there as well as my trading bets, in-play bets and Arb bets and whilst I try and post my weekend match recommendations in here as well, I don't always get the chance to.

This is the first of two match predictions so have a read and let me know your thoughts...

FOOTBALL - Roma vs Juventus - Juve Win
===========================
Juve are likely to be in high spirits after their comfortable win in their mid-week, Champions league game against Celtic, but there maybe a few tired legs out there today.

Juve are the in-form team in the league with 5 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss in their last 8 games and along with being the in-form team, they also having the best away record. On their travels they have knocked up an impressive 8 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss scoring on 23 occasions and only conceding 8 goals, which is by far the best record in the league.

They are the divisions top scorers with 50 goals and have the best defense having conceded 16 in 24 games so it is easy to see
how they dominate games and are rightly top of the league.

9th placed Roma had an inconsistent start to the season with games being won and loss each week and they failed to gain any sort of stability. However, this has been completely turned around since 2013 and they have managed to put a run of 6 games without a win and only 2 points picked up.

Their last two games have seen them losing 2-4 and 3-1 against Caglari and Sampadori who are both below them in the league so moral levels are going to be poor.

On the plus side for Roma, scoring goals isn't really their problem as they are the joint top scorers, along side Juve, and have only failed to score in 2 outings.

Their problems lay with their defensive capablities, or lack of them, as they have leaked 45 goals which is only bettered by Pescara who are in a relegation battle.

The reverse fixture saw Juve dominating the game from the early stages and went on to run out 4-1 winners against a Roma side who struggled to compete with them all over the park.

Whilst I'm not expecting Juve to win by a similar margin, I epxect them to run out winners none the less.

The over 2.5 goals or Both Teams To Score are alternative angles to consider in this one with seeing as they have scored 100 goals between the two sides this season.

I would be slightly wary of BTTS as Juve have only let in 8 goals on their travels this season and are looking very solid defensively.

RECOMMENDATION
=============
Juve to win at 2.1

CONSIDERATIONS
============
Both Teams To Score at 1.57
Over 2.5 Goals at 1.67

I've considered it for a while and decided against my second recommendation which was going to be a win for Standard Liege against Cercle Bruges...I might see if the price drifts a bit further later on but at the moment can't quite bring myself to back it...
