I KNOW NEWCASTLE ARE STRUGGLING BUT 1.67 ON A TEAM WITHOUT A RECOGNISED STRIKER. ADEBAYOR MAYBE BACK BUT ALL THAT TRAVEL HASNT DONE HIM ANY FAVOURS AND IF THE PRICE IS RELYING ON BALE HAVING A BIG GAME THEN GOOD LUCK TO ALL THOSE BACKING THEM.

IM STAYING AWAY FROM THE MATCH ODDS GOING FOR THE GOALS MARKET, OVER IS THE PLAY HERE

PICK : OVER 2.5

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last nine Premier League games, scoring 13 goals and conceding just four – and only Manchester United (two) have failed to score in fewer games than Spurs (three). The Magpies have conceded 23 goals in their last 10 games and their woodwork has also being struck a league-high 16 times this season. No side in the Premier League has averaged more shots at home than Tottenham (22.7 per game), while 74% of the north London club’s goals have been in the second half of matches. Newcastle’s 3-2 victory over Chelsea last Saturday was the first time in 27 months that they came from behind to win a Premier League match – the last occasion was a 2-1 win against West Ham in October 2010.

That Tottenham defence today looks like an accident waiting to happen.

The odds on Spurs will surely start to go up when people see that team without a striker.

Depends who plays furthest forward out of Bale and Dempsey. If it's Bale they lose a lot of width. Dempsey can do a job in that position.
