Anyone know if there is truth in Colwyn Bay sacking their manager and with the Chairman now running the team, A friend in the know reckons the home team are in turmoil at present and at 5/4 the away team are worth a punt. Anyone know about how much truth there is in this and also if the away team are good enough to take advantage ?

Manager Lee Williams has left Blue Square Bet North side Colwyn Bay after only four games in charge.

Former Bay goalkeeper Williams was appointed in January following the sacking of Jon Newby.

But Bay lost all four games Williams was in charge, culminating in last Saturday's home defeat to Workington.

Chairman Bob Paton will take charge of Saturday's home game against Bishop's Stortford.

"I have had a few meetings with Lee in the last couple of days over the current situation and in the end we agreed it was in the best interests of Colwyn Bay Football Club that he steps down," Paton said.

The Seagulls have slipped into the Blue Square Bet North relegation zone after a run of five consecutive defeats.
