Does he ever give a straight answer or admit a mistake? What a horrible man.

You need remarks like that to boost your spirits, its been a long time, maybe one day when your back to the once great club you used to be you'll talk about the footy.

What's he said?

RAFA RAFA BENITEZ, WOT A LEGEND, AND NANDO TOO, ON A MISSION TO TAKE CHELSEA TO THEIR "RIGHTFUL PLACE" Laugh
Report chelseakai1 January 16, 2013 11:12 AM GMT
He gets asked a question and answers like a politician.

Torres has a stomach bug, Ba is injured, Benitez is just insulting fans intelligence, when asked about Lampard he trots out the same old statement obviously under pressure from bully boy Roman so unfair to blame him for that, in a nut shell i just don't like him.
Report chelseakai1 January 16, 2013 11:14 AM GMT
See what i mean you Mickeys, Chelsea and Man utd are your only sources of pleasure these days, jealous, bitter and twisted supporters of a once great club.

You're right kai, its us coming across as the bitter and twisted ones int it Laugh
Report Ukmalllia January 16, 2013 11:28 AM GMT
Kai, you should be greatful Rafa and Torres are at your club, if it were for you guys winning the russian lottery and getting Roman the billionaire, you would now likely be playing in the conference. Be greatful for what you have my friend.

Im simply pointing out the stetement he made at the time he made it was credible in his and others opinions

I have a healthy respect for what chelsea have achived of late, but you cant knock him for sayin what he did when he did imo

We're not on everyone else's forums like a load of voyeurs, i don't care about liverpool, you lot are obsessed with us and United, you should be more concerned about getting in the top four.

On a serious note i do believe a decent Liverpool team is good for Engish footbal, when that will happen i don't know.
Report chelseakai1 January 16, 2013 11:34 AM GMT
I didn't like the flags either, footballs changed, i dislike these new fans as much as you do, every club has them, the passion bit, well the fat pricks finding out about that now.  If he won every trophy possible he would be tolerated as he is now but never liked.
Report REDUNDANT PUNTER January 16, 2013 11:36 AM GMT
You dont have to like the manager, you follow the club no matter who manages or who plays, its all part of bieng a supporter imo

and in reality you never have to wait long for it to change so its fine
Report chelseakai1 January 16, 2013 1:42 PM GMT
The point that we would be in the conference but for Roman is strange.

As i have stated many times before Chelsea are very, very lucky that it is located in one of the most expensive and desirable  in one of the best cities in the world and for that reason would always be attractive to a wealthy investor, more so than any london team never mind others from run down area's outside the capital, that is not me taking the P I S S but luckily for Chelsea just good luck.

Your right we have been lucky with Roman but my point just raised was surely a factor in his decision to buy the club.

People go on about Abramovich as though Chelsea were in league two when he took them over.

Obviously he's pushed them on to a much higher leavel but before he took over they were winning cups and the season before he took charge they finished 4th and qualified for the CL.

Not exactly struggling.
Report TheBetterBettor January 16, 2013 2:36 PM GMT
Yep, he´s like the 21st Century version of Cloughie going to Leeds.
Report ALLINBLIND January 16, 2013 3:09 PM GMT
Chelsea are a small club though, why he went there I don't know. There fans are embarassing. *waves plastic flag* Excited
Report hippie January 16, 2013 3:09 PM GMT
The week Abramovich took over (July 2003) Bates was about to default on a £23 million debt repayment.

Bates totally fụcked up the finances and that's why the sale only took 5 days.

They were struggling.
Report Loanwolf January 16, 2013 3:21 PM GMT
Benitez is an excellent manager and will only improve Chelsea given time and of course money.Chelseas ascendancy in the last decade  is primarily due to money However deep Abramovitchs  pockets are Manchester Citys are even deeper .Guardiola seems a sensible guy and its a no brainer that he will/should plump for Manchester City.
Report chelseakai1 January 16, 2013 3:59 PM GMT
Struggling financially, just finished fourth to qualify for the champions league at Liverpool's expense.

Chelsea weren't a Leeds, they did actually own their players, but true they did overspend like most clubs in this era of football madness that has got worse rather than better.
