Lots of either bitter or clueless people being shown up tonight if they can't see or acknowledge that it was nothing more than an accidental handball that the officials ridiculously didn't see.

You think I can convince you that he's not a cheat? Didn't think so , so I won't waste my time.

No. Ball hit his hand. He never moved his hand to the ball.

Get a life losers.

Hmmmm looked like his ARM moved out to the ball to me? However, definitely instinctive, and cant fault Suarez this time, just the officials. Wouldn't label him a cheat for that....

call him a cheat for saving the ball on the line in the world cup. Don't call him a cheat for a ball ping ponging towards his hand.

nothing would have been said about the handball on the line if the penalty had been scored

That wasn't cheating either, ha got a red card, he got punished so not really cheating is it?

Should be a hero for that, it's something that has happened lots too, I remember 'salt of the earth' Phil Neville handling on the line in the last min of a Derby, Liverpool tucked away the pen, no big deal, but The Anti Suarez brigade, ASB's as they should be known as from now on will multiply anything involving King Luis x 100000

I personally don't have any issue with what he did for Uruguay. The dying embers of a World Cup Quarter-Final and you are faced with either conceding the goal that deprives you of a semi-final spot or conceding a penalty which could still be missed.

A no-brainer for me and not really that different to a professional foul.

Only just seen your last post, cob.

People keep mentioning Phil Neville. He handled on the line, was sent-off, Liverpool scored the penalty and won the game.

How does that compare to what happened yesterday?

Exactly. If Asamoah Gyan had scored the penalty, no one would even give a sh*t

what do i do now?

All the criticism of Suarez is unfair. He's never done anything like it before.

Cob, you seem to be implying that if you get sent off for cheating then you have no longer cheated due to the punishment being issued.  I would suggest that it just means you are a cheat who has been caught compared to a cheat who gets away with it.

crouch did it intentionally not so long ago and it led to a goal and they all thought it was a great goal, but when the ball bounces up and accidently hits suarez on the hand he is called a cheat.

seems there's one set of rules for suarez and another set for everybody else.

must admit i thought that at the time. No way would the commentator have said 'cheat' if say Gerrard or Sturridge had done it.
