I have watched many over-rated football teams in my time but that squad that represented Newcastle tonight must be the worst at St James Park for many a year.If I was a Newcastle fan I would be very very worried.Just where do they get some of those "much admired" overseas players from. It might as well be Alan Carr doing the scouting...

Biggest joke is Danny Simpson stalling ona  contract that will double his wage and tag him for 5 years.....

He is F**king USELESS t**T dating some Tramp. I wouldn't pay him a £10 to play. Id pay a club to take him off my hands.

Jonas is 5hit. People talk about work rate etc....he has none. He runs, loses the ball, runs, loses the ball.......

Williamson at the back is surely a tramp who was begging outside StJames and mistaken for a footballer

49,000 there, maybe your mate got rid of his

Pardew got an 8 year contract with targets, might miss target this year, interesting to see what happens if he does

Everything that went right last year has gone wrong this, but you can't take an average

Time to roll up sleeves, and dig in

Problem is many of the easier fixtures have gone, and we lost em

When are your key players due back?

They've played quite well over the last few games IMO. It's that region of games where they lost to West Ham, Fulham etc which were the problem.

If the last four games played were on last years run a lot of the people moaning today would have been cheering and suggesting a few decisions either way decided the games.

Agree with that cj70

Dza, Taylor and cabaye may be back for Norwich away, as might our new right back from France

Ben Arfa seemingly being given time to recover from dodgy hamstring, could be another 2-3 weeks

And if all the doom and gloomers want to pony up and lay me a bet on the Newcastle top 10 market I'd be much obliged ;)

On the face of it, Ba will be a big miss. But you would know more than me Donny, obviously...do you think you will miss him much?

I can't see you going down because I can't mark you as one of the worst 3 teams in the league, even with this bad form you're in. Last season was an over achievement with these players, strikers who hit the net with every shot (exaggeration I know) and this season is an under achievement. You'll stay up and stabilise next season imo. And there are still 2 cup comps to play for.

I don't think giving Pardew the message that he's in it for the long term (contract) is a bad thing at all. Consistent management is very under-rated. Saying that, I'd have left Hughton in the job! But Pardew showed his potential with last season's league placing.

Any team would miss ba, I thought him the better of our two Africans, but most prefer Cisse

It never really worked as a pair

Again I agree with what you say, but if they give up like they did a couple of years back then who knows ...

I'm very optimistic.

Giving away free money etc..

It doesn't work. No-one is that confidently against it.

Steve Taylor got injured v Chelsea in December last season having played 14 games in the league from 14 fixtures

When he went off we had conceded 13 goals in the season

Not sure we are talking about the same Taylor, as there is also Ryan Taylor,

You Geordies have changed managers so many times over the years and not helped you that much, stick with him and build a better future or take Rafa off our hands.
