As a 'pool fan i cant get excited by this, we have still no hope of top 4 in what is a very poor league, quite depressing actually
Pool do well against the utter crap like Fulham away and QPR

Liverpool are still a fair way off being a top 4 side. 6/7th would be a decent season for them, as they're a team in transition.

Well i was being polite about Sturridge. But he might do ok, time will tell. He's never really had a proper run of games in his career, maybe that's what he needs to get the best out of him.
But 12m on him, when Ba is available for 7m and you could easily pick up some decent strikers from the Dutch league for less than 10m, does make it a strange deal.
