No saddo anti Utd comments from lonely 40 somethings or angry young teenagers required. Son on his way to OT and has been let down on the ticketing front. How safe is it to buy tickets from touts and anyone know the going rate or best time to buy them ?

Best to buy them from the youth team players at the training ground.

Billy, reckon he should get one for around about the fifty mark.

Thught they were getting rid of a lot of the saddos on here. My guess is bullied at school, never had a girlfriend and now a keyboard hero.

Pretty safe Billy. He will be ok and for today's game he won't have to pay much over the odds.

His best bet is to find a season ticket holder with a spare season ticket belonging to a friend or family member. There are usually quite a few of those near the ground itself. They often let you have the ticket at cost. Obviously he would have to go into the ground with them so they can get the season ticket card back. Also he might end up standing next to them or close by but I am sure that won't matter.

It is also worth him going to the ticket office outside the ground for any last minute returns, sometimes you can pick an odd one up.

Good luck.

try the stall sellers ( hats scarf ect ) many have tickets but dont go inside, they sell them each match so they gain the customer credits/stubs for future games.

thats what a couple of my mates do anyway.
