The new is the biggest load of sh#t i have ever seen, just try clicking on an inplay treble for instance and watch the odds drop right before your very eyes.           I took an away team inplay yesterday at 1.45,when i looked at the price on my treble it was1.36.It took 20 mins of play before it got to my given price of 1.36.I have complained twice now and suprise suprise,no reply.Stick to the old site and only go to the new if you like watching prices change and lots of the suspended monkey.

Old. The new one is sh1te. The problem with Betfair is that they never address the real issue. This being that the site is still unbelievably slow and is prone to crashing without warning. At the end of the day they don't give a damn about the people who use it. As long as the executives continue to line their pockets with our cash then who really cares?

I dont like how they've stripped all the extra "exchange" information on the New site and turned it into something that looks like a William Hill site.

I want the market depth, volume, amount available and graphs to be visible at first glance as is on the old site without and having to click through a further 2 pages to finally get to it because betfair decided to hide it all under the carpet.

I find it crashs a lot and can take for ever to load a new market..... 2/3 minutes sometimes.....i soon gave up on it
Report grrrrrowl December 18, 2012 3:49 AM GMT
Old, the gutting of the exchange multiples to force us to use the new beta multiples (which I refuse to) is particularly desperate
Report mouse trap December 18, 2012 8:58 AM GMT
I use the old one for Aussie football and the new site for the rest and can't say I noticed any significant difference in performance (the often mentioned crashes and slow loading of the market etc. do not affect me at all).  What is more annoying than anything else are the ads for casino, slots, instant games etc., and they take more screen space on the new site.
The charts in the new site sometimes show more available offers than the old site charts (more price levels populated with offers) or look slightly different which I find difficult to explain.

Report Zeze22 December 18, 2012 11:29 AM GMT
I use the new site, mainly because I only started using Betfair seriously in the past year so I didn't really see much difference. I did try the old site a couple of times though and I just didn't like it, it seems too outdated, sort of like the websites you'd see in the 90's.
The new site is very quick for me and never any slow loading in the markets. Only problem I've had with the new site is the crashes that happened about 3 times so far. Otherwise I like it.

Tried the new site for a short while, it looks cheap, and the market tabs have lost something, the old site are made to look like buttons, on the new site its difficult to tell. Also the number font in the box looks smaller, I already use reading glasses and dont want to max the screen any more.

I wonder if the motive is just like the so called email system upgrades that you see, which are really about using less memory and cheaper costs.

I use the old mostly for familarity - as I guess most people do - but what I consider a key facility doesn't seem to be on the new site i.e. the my markets/customise markets feature. The key to getting over peoples inbuilt dislike of change is to demonstrate that new is better and not to provide less.

old for me too

tried the new one for a spell as I was worried in case they just suddenly switched off the old, and even after going back to old because I couldn't find stuff, I went back to the new site to try again.

placed a few bets on new, got done out of a few decent prices because I never realised at first that the prices they were offering were less than exchange prices and eventually after not being able to look at my bets, I finally switched back to old  again.

It doesn't even make sense. I rarely use betfair these days, but just logged in to bet on the costa rican play-off in 50 minutes time. Betting available on old site.............this match is nowhere to be seen on the new site and doesn't appear in AGT!!!! How can they possibly display matches on one version that aren't available on the other? I am baffled

my bad, got time zones messed up :( It is Sunday 2am (i.e. 24 hours from now).  Anyway, the old site is better as everybody else has said. If you place any form of multiple on the new site, you reduce your winnings by approximately 5-10%
