The problem was I began smoking weed at 14 I have given up now at 23 but as I have a poor employment history I can not get a job. Stop with the suicide talk Gooner, as bad as you might think it is, do you really value your life at a measly 4'000?
When the economy comes good again (which it will believe me, hopefully sooner rather than later), you will make that money back very quickly, a couple of months.

I know you want a quick fix but there is none, this is now the situation you face but it's not that bad. My advice is to tell your parents, you said they will more-than-likely forgive you which sounds like good parents to me, so tell them. Once you tell someone you will feel a small bit of relief straight away. Don't keep this to yourself, the guilt will be too hard to cope, make sure you tell them.

Then ask if you can live with them for a year or so, sign on the dole and save every penny. If you save for a full year you should have roughly 3'500/4'000.

Things will work themselves out mate.

Treat today as the first day of the rest of your life,set a strategy of what you would like to do,where you want to be in 5 years time and start today working on it.You seem to have a good family they will help,and 4k in debt is nothing,there are thousands in this country who would love to be 4K in debt,believe me.You can pm me if you want.

The army is not worthwhile, 19 grand a year is not worth putting your life on the line for, it's not as appreciated theses days as it used to be thanks to the illegal wars in Islamic  countries.
