xscores says crowd problems

I've just seen it, someone launched a flare and hit the goalkeeper!
By:
as far as I could see, a (Zenit?) spectator behind the Dinamo goal threw a rocket/fire cracker on to the pitch and hit the Dinamo keeper in the eye, he was seemingly injured and did not have full eye sight. I'm not sure if the game is fully suspended or if it will be reassumed.

futbol24 says the match has been abandoned, so presumably will not resume.
By:
what happens here then? Please tell me it's not a 3 day rule thing. I laid zenit as well :(
By:
it's a 3 day rule thing
By:
it's going to be 3:0 as a technical
By:
how certain are you of that dimka? I mean, it should really, considering it was the zenit fans who caused the game to be abandoned
By:
3 day rule. DimkaBY = :-)
By:
3 day rule might not apply here as the game can't be replayed in that time due to Zenit having a champions league game on wednesday
By:
dinamo played at home
russian league has no time to replay the game |
By:
Is it definitely abandoned?
By:
yep, definitely abandoned
By:
Cool. I was losing :)
By:
just to confirm abandoned: http://en.ria.ru/sports/20121117/177545867.html

By:
was on over 1.5 myself. I wonder, if it's a 3-0 decision - that is, no replay - does the Russian Fed need to make the decision within 72 hours, meaning Tuesday morning at the latest...?
By:
what happens with the overs market, as i haven't a clue
By:
Overs market will be voided if it's a technical 3-0, been caught on that before.
By:
Can anyone tell me which bets are voided? I bet on the match odds. Is that market voided? What is the three day rule - and if they give a technical 3-0 home win does that apply in the match odds market? thanks
By:
some of the fans started throwing objects and a missle at the keeper of zenit seems like a serious injury poor guy could be blinded.
By:
missile*
By:
only winners are first team to score, first player to score, over half goal etc
By:
If a market hadn't been paid out before the match was stopped, it will be voided and everyone gets their stake back.
By:
But your money will be locked in the market for up to 3 days while they wait for official confirmation of when the match will be replayed.
By:
thanks very much. lovely three day wait but could be worse - was losing. Hope the keeper is ok.
By:
There was game cancelled in Argentina for the same thing on Wednesday night, and it got voided at 11:30 on Friday morning
By:
i've just rang them - they said 3 day rule applies - i mentioned champions league match in midweek, they said they may do it quicker then - i.e. they haven't really thought about it!
By:
so don't bank on seeing your money back before Monday

Talk about sensationalism, some of you guys should work for the tabloids.
MOSCOW, November 17 (R-Sport) - Dynamo Moscow’s home game against Zenit St. Petersburg has been called off after Dynamo goalkeeper Anton Shunin was hit by a missile thrown from the stands. What appeared to be a pyrotechnic hit or landed near Shunin on 36 minutes, and the smoke seemed to irritate the goalkeeper’s eyes. Referee Alexei Nikolaev led the players off after a discussion with the coaches of both teams. Russian Premier League executive director Sergei Cheban said the match had been called off. "A football pitch isn't a warzone," he said in televised comments, adding that the FA would decide the winner. "It's the prerogative of the disciplinary committee and they'll make a decision." Dynamo were leading 1-0 thanks to a Vladimir Grant goal. It is unclear what action the FA might take: It is possible Dynamo will be awarded the win if Zenit fans are found to have transgressed, although, perversely, Dynamo could be punished for failing to arrange for the protection of players. Rival fans scuffled at a Moscow train station ahead of the game. No injuries or arrests were reported. The Russian government is currently trying to push through legislation aimed at stamping out football hooliganism. The last Russian match to be called off due to hooliganism was Dynamo's Russian Cup clash with Torpedo Moscow in September. That game was abandoned due to flares being thrown onto the pitch. Torpedo, playing at home, were handed a 3-0 loss by default, and ordered to play the next three home games behind closed doors, and both clubs received small fines. |
By:
If the Russian FA confirm the match will not be completed within the next 3 days, the markets will be voided. If no official announcement is made, they wait until the 3 days are up before voiding.
By:
pretty ridiculous to wait for an announcement or even wait 3 days as it's almost certain that there wont be a rematch or a continuation due to die CL game on Wednesday.
By:
The confederation will give the game as a gain for the DINAMO By 3x0
The betfair vai pay Dinamo victory or will only return the money? |
By:
relax, federation is going to take its decision only on wednesday ;)
on tuesday you'll be given your money back |
By:
Down on one of my coupons for 12 noon kick-off tomorrow. Don't know if that's right though.

Zenit's director isn't too happy:
Zenit general director Maxim Mitrofanov said despite the fact the flare came from the away section of the crowd, it was far too early to establish the identity of the culprit, and that Dynamo should take the blame as hosts. "We don't understand the responsibility that Zenit should bear," Mitrofanov said. "Dynamo oversaw the entry of the fans to the stadium and the ticket sales." Mitrofanov said that Zenit's shareholders and sponsors could react "extremely negatively" to possible "abuse" of the FA's disciplinary code. The code states that any fans in the away zone are considered supporters of the visiting team unless proven otherwise. If authorities take action against Zenit, "it's possible that the decision will be taken that Zenit will cease their participation in the Russian championship." |
