It was a fantastic goal.

Didn't Trevor Sinclair do an overhead volley from outside the box? For QPR.

George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah.
In 1995 he was named European Footballer of the Year and FIFA World Player of the Year.
Weah also became famous at Milan for scoring a wonder goal against Verona at the San Siro.

simply incredible strike IBA
By:

When: 15 Nov 12 09:12
most strikers 'mean it' when they strike the ball and it hits the crossbar or gets tipped out by the goalkeepers fingertip or flys over the goals by 10 metres etc. Most goals are flukes or lucky shots, if it was pure skill then these guys would be scoring 10 or more goals a game through their sheer skill.

I'm no football pundit but a goal scored in that  manner surely has a boot it and see element?  It was very skilful but IMO not compared to a weaving run from the hw line like Ryan Giggs did once. Although this criteria would depend on the opposition
By:

Rooney's goal was technically harder as it was a faster ball crossed in and he still overhead kicked it in.  If you discredit it because he 'shinned it' you are clueless.

there was a better one than that in the Champions league a few years back. overhead from outside the box with the keeper IN the goal.
