I think it'll be tight. 1 or 2 nil to Japan I think, they don't score many (other than that freak result against Jordan) and neither do Oman.
By:
Kagawa of course is injured, won't be pretty I'd imagine unders is a certainty
By:
I pretty much hope Oman are no real threat to Japan laid them quite heavily.
By:
Laid Japan at 1.53 at kick-off. Oman are an emerging side and difficult to beat at home, plus the heat is a factor and Japan with no Kagawa are too short for me at that price.
By:
Should be 1-0 Oman
By:
why did you think oman were such a great lay?
Their unbeaten at home in all their world cup qualifiers with 4 wins and 2 draws. Japs aren't that great away, 1 win and 2 draws from 4 games. Oman don't concede much (1 in 6). sounds like you just looked at Japans low odds and decided they couldn't lose! |
By:
Piss odds japs should be evens minimum
By:
****g arab commentators make every chance sound like a goal, crazy/
By:
0-1 Japan
By:
Unders is the smart bet now
By:
may be you are right ff about Oman being a better side than the odds suggest but I didn't see the quality required to beat Japan from them yet (no aftertiming intended)
By:
fair enough.
i fancied a draw or maybe japs grabbing it by a goal. oman +1 handicap at 2.08 was the value pick for me. had trade of the draw in play but down a little now. on under 2.5 now though, should be odds on again soon enough as long as no goals soon |
By:
Took a £20 loss with that Japan goal...on under at 2.34 now though. Should have made it back if it stays 0-1 for the next 25 minutes! Japan not really created anything other than that goal, and even then it was a defensive error.
By:
Under 3.5 hopefully
By:
I may consider laying off later if no second Japan goal. Their position here doesn't look too solid to me now
By:
ooohhh good effort off the head.
cleared off the line by Japan |
By:
not even cleared, just fortunate it didn't go in |
By:
well that's a second close call ffs
By:
looks an open game?
By:
just tuned in

why did you think oman were such a great lay? It's generally a good thought if you can't name a single player from Oman or a team that plays in the Oman leagues. Whereas most people know Japanese football + players. That said it is a friendly, could end 1-1 but doubt Oman win. |
By:
looks lively scaredmoney, Oman had perfect chances but didn't use them.
By:
not friendly, ASIA: World Cup - Qualification - Third stage
By:
it a world cup qualifier!!
By:
4th stage of qualifiying actually.
all to play for, especially for Oman who are equal second in their group with Australia. Top 2 qualify for World Cup and 3rd go to play offs. Japs have done most of the world already, 5 points clear half way through the group. |
By:
Well it goes my way but I am out of it better be safe than sorry. Took a minor profit here. Good luck with your bets here lads
By:
fair enough, it does say that after every replay. I think Japan a good bet here at 1.2, only saw 1-2 chances for an equaliser.
By:
oman missed a near open goal and hit the post with a header with the rebound only just cleared.
i'd say they had their chances |
By:
Use the weather as well guys...boiling hot, players getting tired quicker so Japan are probably gonna sit back rather than charging looking for more goals.
By:
2nd shot on target now, worrying signs

Come on Honda, let's see a wonder goal!
By:
laid off Japs for free kick, but I think they are very unlucky. Should have had a pen a minute before...
