I think that the only people that can be defined as 'scum' are those that call others 'scum'. Tellingly, most of the time they can't spell.

You don't have to wear a poppy 27 hours a day 7 days a week when we get within sight of the 11th.

Donate to the charity, and wear a poppy if you feel like wearing one.

Think about war and the lives taken or ruined because of war with some quiet dignity, and don't be a **** about it.

Poppys do my head in. Always the same crap every year over a poxy flower on a shirt. No one should be forced to wear one.

poppys are not intended to celebrate wars or victories.
they are meant to remind everyone of those soldiers on all sides who gave their lives fighting in wars.
