Hi guys, wondering if anyone here tried trading/investing money on long term markets like Champions League Winner 2012/2013 or NBA Champion 12/13?
For example laying Barca to win CL @ 3.75, let's assume the price is 3.9 in 1 month, my profit if I green out should be around 2,5%? And is Betfair only gonna take commission from these winnings?
Not planning anything serious, but putting a few hundred on a long term event and risking only a few % is more fun than putting it on a savings account. Or am I missing something?

It's definitely more fun.
I've recently looked past the point that it's tied up and have done lots of long term bets. However I have not been trading from them, just let them ride.
They can be a bit of a double edged sword but we are gambling here.
