He'll be on to tell us how they are not getting the points their performances deserve soon.

He'll get til the next international break at least.

Fernandez needs to act now, 3pts from 27, offer a harry a blank cheque to keep em up, proven history in this situ
|
|
By:
Think if they got hammered at home to reading next sunday that would be it
|
|
By:
What was it he said at the end of last season? We'll never be in this position again while I'm at the club. No, you'll be relegated well before the final match of the season this time round.
|
|
By:
qpr should stick with hughes...
they will be ok, especially once hughes decides what his best side is, although i could also agree with the comment about reading at home next sunday |
|
By:
He seems a bit clueless to me. Rarely talks about strategy just seems to say they were unlucky, didn't get what they deserved or it was someone else's fault. They have ability in the team but play too negatively
|
|
By:
Hughes seems to be taking huge credit for keeping qpr up last season when really bolton helped them out.
Werent qpr about 16/17th in league under warnock when he was sacked. The guy who got them promoted and had fraction of money hughes has splashed in last 10 months. Actually think qpr played some decent stuff at times but 3 points from 9 games is bottom line. |
|
By:
Hes been in charge 27 games and picked up 23 points.
Dont think hes won an away game yet either in 10 months in charge |
|
By:
yes steptoe...
qpr appearing like a club who when they did come up, wanted to run before they could walk... fernandez lost faith in warnock far too quickly |

You guys have got it completely wrong. This is a list of games they've played so far.
8 matches against teams in the top half. 1 against lower half, Away. 1 Chelsea H 0 - 0 2 Manchester City A 3 - 1 4 Arsenal A 1 - 0 5 Everton H 1 - 1 7 Tottenham A 2 - 1 8 West Bromwich A 3 - 2 9 West Ham Utd H 1 - 2 10 Swansea City H 0-5 16 Norwich A 1-1 They've been playing decent football. Came very close to scoring against Arsenal. Unlucky not to claim points in many of those games. The only bad result in that lot is the home loss against Swansea, but you could almost put that down to a fluke opening game of the season. An away draw v Norwich is not drastically bad either (in fact, you could argue it keeps the in the prem). Probably the most under-rated team and manager in English football. |

Agree with MR ANGRY

Some tough games yep. Though could argue west ham, west brom above halfway because theyve beaten qpr.
|
|
By:
in all fairness, they should have beaten everton last weekend
|

Mark Hughes - a most dislike-able individual. Hope he stays there and they get relegated.
|
|
By:
Even bigger game tomorrow for him after todays results
think chances of owners hitting panic button increased now 6 points off safety |
|
By:
backed them today like a mug
so much for easier fixtures |

What is it with you Mark Hughes haters? He is a liar, an excuse maker and a self publicist. He leaks against his own players in the press when he is making a mess of things. He has a cosy little bunch of journos who will always back him up and discredit others to do so (Mancini, Warnock, Eriksson, etc). He makes it his aim to slaughter managers that were at teams prior to him and claim the club were a joke prior to his arrival, despite evidence suggesting otherwise. He purchases players based on reputation, like a 12 year old on Football Manager. He has no tactical awareness. He ruins good defenders. Every word he utters is designed to either deflect blame from him or to talk himself up. He has an inability to work with anyone who isn't a yes man and removes quality employees from clubs, replacing them with inferior staff whose only positive, to him, is that they are a member of the Taffia. He has the personality or a fish. He has no conscience as to who he blames or discredits in order to make himself look better. Any more reasons needed? |

Sounds like SAF to me.

did ok 2nd half but shocking for an hour

By:
a point for any team managed by Hughes is a point gained not two lost

Can't stand Hughes for the above reasons listed.
|
|
By:
He left Fulham because he believed he had a chance of becoming
Chelsea manager. Totally deluded. |

Hughes is a busted flush.Clueless is the only way i can put it without ranting.

You could argue that the fixture list hadn't been too kind to them and that in the majority of the games they've been competitive, but unfortunately with the little patience the owners have (Warnock's head was on the chopping block before the fixture list was drawn up) combined with the money invested, they expect results and expect them instantly,
Now 'Arry will be overwhelming favourite and you have to say rightly so, But I have to say I was pretty surprised Ollie took the Palace job, think given his over acheivements at Blackpool, How they play, And that he's a bit of a cult figure around Loftus Road what with him keeping them from relegation year on year when the club was in dire straits, He'd have been a pretty popular candidate, Looks like Hughes is set for the managerial wilderness, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke... |

Real name - Mark Clhughesless.
Why on earth he has such high opinions of himself i don't understand. |
