Betfair has to explain this ilegal suspension, because they just cant offer live betting markets and then suspend them.I wanted to cash out my wager before the ending but I couldnt due to this meltdown. They owe us an EXPLANATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its clearly the data providers problem, which is a different company to Betfair. All BF can do is suspend

What they should ..but they wont..is to refund all bets..then find out whos to blame and claim compensation of them .....
When you make a bet it's placed in good faith at that time. You have no control over the future.

was it just betfair or other sites, ie bookmakers? does anyone know?
the data feed is down on all bookies, for example 365 have no stats.

I think 365 were manually managing the market, ie somebody watching a stream of it
Exactly. Instead of taking the drastic action of suspending all markets, all they need to do is increase the bet placement time.

agree but all they had to do is turn the market into unmanaged not suspend

That's why they can increase the bet timer instead rather than take an extreme measure, especially in games 70 minutes in.

Yes, but it is the same with tennis, cricket etc. and there are no 'suspended' markets in those because they don't manage them. Why just football?
