After 10 days of no betting opportunities, we finally have one tonight in Brazil. Its been frustrating time with the international fixtures getting in the way of league games but its always best to sit these times out and wait for something to appear. Better to keep the money in your pocket than give it to a bookie coz your were bored...
ANYWAY, full match analysis is below but full staking details on the site (www.bettingriver.co.uk) as always.
Thoughts and comments welcomed...
16th October 2012 – Vitoria vs ASA (Serie B – Brazil)
Vitoria are in 2nd place and are a single point behind the leaders Criciuma and a goal behind them on goal difference so this is a very close championship race. Vitoria have the second best scoring record in the league after netting 49 in 29 games and have only conceded 31.
Their current form has seen them slip up in their last few away games, which in turn, has affected their current form rating as it reads won 3, drawn 3 and lost 2 of their last 8 games. Their home form however, is very good and has seen them winning 11, drawing twice and only losing the once so far this season.
Their home ground really is a fortress for them where they have dropped very few points this season and in doing so, have entertained their fans by scoring 28 times in 14 games whilst only conceded 12 times.
ASA find themselves in a middle table position with an OK goal scoring record of 38 goals scored. The flip side of that though is their defence is fragile having conceded 38. To give then credit, they are a team goes out to play for the win as their record shows as they have won 11 and lost 14 games with only 4 draws so far this season. They don’t always get it right, but they do give it a go.
Their current form is actually slightly better than Vitoria’s which is an instant warning flag. When you look a bit closer though you see that whilst they have managed 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses in their last 8 games, they have only picked up 1 point from the 3 away games they have recently played.
Their away form, as a whole, is the joint 2nd worst in the league with only 8 points picked up on the travels from a possible 42. They have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 10 of their away fixtures scoring this season so they don’t travel well at all. They have manage to net on 11 occasions but their defence is their weakness as they have almost double (21 goals) in the process.
Review
The reverse fixture in this game saw Vitoria win 2-3 and I expect them to do the double this evening when they play in front of their home crowd.
ASA have had a few good results recently but those have come at home against the lower ranking teams in the league. You can expect ASA to come and have ago at Vitoria and they may even grab a goal but I expect Vitoria’s class to become too much for them and will be looking for a good win to keep the pressure on the league leaders.
An alternative angle, might be to back over 2.5 goals as the potential for goals is high in this fixture.
Nobody got any thoughts on this then or should I take it that everyone is too stuck in to the internationals tonight???
I don't back internationals or cup games as so un-predictable...stick with league and teams form if you want to make some long term profits...All in my humble opinion of course :O)

DAFFODIL1: Could be 10 days...could be tomorrow...Who knows...BUT...I do know, I'm here to make a regular profit from well researched betting opportunities...
Not interested in most of the usual complete tosh posted on here but am interested in getting peoples views and opinions on researched games. I'm not looking for people to blindly follow, but to form their own opinions and hopefully find holes in my research...in doing so, I will hopefully refine my research and take more profit...
But of course, if your just interested in your "sure thing 5 fold accu"...feel free to ignore my posts...

Jimbox: My sentiments exactly...Bookies will take your money longer term unless you can control emotions and only bet when you truely believe it is a good bet...
Even then, you are likely to lose quite a few, but with correct money management, you can take a profit...or so the plan goes :O)

I'm sticking with my over 2.5 goals. Also got over 2.5 and 3.5 on Chile v Argentina, hoping to wake up to a profit. Good luck to everyone, I'm off for the night

Didn't see the full game but looks like ASA gave it ago as expected but Vitoria managed to get the win none the less...Bit unlucky for those of you on over 2.5 goals and glad I didn't back it as well now...couldn't quite convince myself.
Well done to all those that followed and turned a nice profit...I try and post all my recommendations on here but don't always get the time so if you want to follow all my recommendations, have a look at my social media outlets on the site (www.bettingriver.co.uk)...
Nice start to the day :O)
