No win in last 6 for Oxford, including defeats at Rotherham, Cheltenham and Burton

Over 2.5

Only poss downside I can see is Vale apparently missing Loft - any fans reckon he will be a big miss?
By:
They'll miss the space he creates up top that's for sure.
By:
Think Vale should be shorter

port vale are a strong win on my form ratings. the only snag is that they are better away from home than at home, they have won 4 out of 5 the last away games but only won 2 out of the last 5 games at home.
having said that Oxford are poor on the road and in poor form, they have lost 4 out of 6 of their last away games. i expect Port Vale to win this and the price is a good one. lets hope they do |
By:
Take into account Oxford held Gillingham to 0-0 and Vale lost against them 0-2.
By:
Oxford beat Wimbledon at home 2 league matches back, 3.2. Since then its a 0.0 at home to Gillingham, draw a fair result and an away win at Cheltenham in JPT, 4.2.
Before that it was 6 straight league defeats after winning their first three to go top!!!! The return of Levin from injury has seen an upturn in form. |
By:
whats the bet here folks?
By:
forget earlier results for Oxford.
They have been missing loads of regular players for a number of games and as they have slowly returned so the results have improved. Still, I think Vale will have too much in a hard fought game. 2-1 home win. |

By:

By:
No, not full strength by any means yet. Mullins on loan from Rotherham made a good start, we were starting to leak goals.

have backed vale -1 at 23/10. 100 with pp

Port Vale are not too good at home this season though. I would go for a draw here, but obviously if they keep scoring goals, a home win is likely. Were Oxford not one of the favourites to win this league at the start of the season. Suggests improvement is probable.
