thats not value, wouldnt touch the game much better even money shots to be had than 7 goals, look what happened to sweden, san marino held out for a hour before losing 5-0 could easily happen tonight
Report jajabink October 12, 2012 9:38 AM BST
i would wait to see if you can get better odds on 7 goals say 7/4 or so
Report jajabink October 12, 2012 9:46 AM BST
remember finland were away to san marino odds of 1.03 and only won 1-0 mind you they did win 8-0 at home
Report Outpost October 12, 2012 9:52 AM BST
you can get 5 for rooney to score a hat-trick

I don't reckon he's international class personally but against san marino . . .

or you could do 5.3 lampard as he takes penalties and with rooney, carroll, defoe, welbeck, lampard, gerard, walcott all diving through the match, there could well be a few penalties.
Report FrankLloyd October 12, 2012 10:07 AM BST
I wouldn't back Lampard as he's out with a knee injury.
Report Outpost October 12, 2012 10:10 AM BST
sorry just copied the names off the betfair price list for goalscorers.
Report donny osmond October 12, 2012 10:38 AM BST
best value seems to be 1.02 for a win, join the queue
Report fairfranco October 12, 2012 10:40 AM BST
more goals second half.

San Marino nearly always concede more second half as they tire against the better team and the opposition take charge and relax having got the lead.

think i saw about 1.8
Report barrycool October 12, 2012 10:52 AM BST
england to score over 7 goals is 12/5
Report thebigp October 12, 2012 10:57 AM BST
I managed to get £50 on Gerrad to score at 11 Crazy
Report donny osmond October 12, 2012 11:02 AM BST
ive gor a dubble on gerrard and terry to score
Report thebigp October 12, 2012 11:04 AM BST
Then i realised Gerrard is suspended Laugh
Report Outpost October 12, 2012 11:09 AM BST
it might be worth laying one of the high scores and then if it were to go about 20 minutes or so without a goal then you could bet it back at a bigger price and be sitting during the second half with a free bet waiting for england to score 6 or 7.
Report Danno October 12, 2012 11:45 AM BST
Don't think England will run away with this.  They rarely do against really poor opposition.
I remember under Sven, England labouring to 2-0 wins home and away to Liechenstein.  OK it was 9 years ago, but surprisingly the team doesn't look too much different (or better) today.  At the home match at Old Trafford it was:

1 David James
3 Wayne Bridge
6 Matthew Upson
2 Gary Neville
5 John Terry
4 Steven Gerrard
7 David Beckham
8 Frank Lampard
11 James Beattie
10 Michael Owen
9 Wayne Rooney

Then of course there was Luxembourg under McClaren.

And if you want anything a bit more recent, then don't forget how poor Algeria were, and England haven't exactly been setting the world alight since then.  They are just not a team to be trusted to get 6+ goals in a match like this, which they will treat as no more than a training match.

2-0 or 3-0 for me.
Report Platini October 12, 2012 12:03 PM BST
There is indeed a value bet to be had. I'll tell you what it is, after I'm on Wink
Report bettingmike8 October 12, 2012 12:25 PM BST
I think a value bet is on the "half with most goals" market and back 2nd half! looks like San Marino can hold teams off a bit first  half but then fold in the 2nd - the Holland 11-0 game was only 3-0 at half time - you can get almost evens on some websites!
Report The Bhoys October 12, 2012 12:28 PM BST
7 goals is a lay. england cannot be trusted to score 7
Report antibooo October 12, 2012 12:33 PM BST
every single player to score :)
Report Milan12Milan October 12, 2012 12:37 PM BST
Will do over 5.5 even though I got bitten when I did that for Germany vs Faore Islands (3-0)
Report Bruce Willis October 12, 2012 1:13 PM BST
I think laying the hat trick to be scored at just over evens is worth a go

hopeless England strikers + subs should stop a hat-trick being scored
Report cs2007new October 12, 2012 1:35 PM BST
wtf, now England 1.01 also cannot bet Crazy
Report The_Silent_Assassin October 12, 2012 1:39 PM BST
2nd half most goals at evens with Bw1n.

In San Marino's last 11 competitive games where 5 or more goals have been scored in the match, 8 times the 2nd half has produced more goals.

Report kenilworth October 12, 2012 2:31 PM BST
The market seems to think so, but if I had

Report iamhewho October 12, 2012 2:31 PM BST

Report Platini October 12, 2012 2:39 PM BST
I'm on Cool    The bet is England clean sheet at 1/6

Great price, IMO. Should be 1.06 not 1/6
Report inm2020 October 12, 2012 3:20 PM BST
Baines to score just over 3/1. Starts at left back as Cole is being punished because of the comments he made on twitter. Baines goes forward and can take both free kicks and pens.

Both teams to score no is a good bet at 2/11 as can you see san marino getting past joe hart after the games he has been having.
Report kenilworth October 12, 2012 3:24 PM BST
Platini, I agree, one of the better 1/6 shots
you will ever see.

San Marino Total Corners - Under 0.5 - 7/4

Ok some value found, are you ready ??

Dutch the first goal odds

get on 0-11 and 11-20 minutes for the first goal.

Dutching this returns just over 1/2
Report Bruce Willis October 12, 2012 6:53 PM BST
You could even add in 21-30 for a smaller ROI
