For the life of me I can't understand anybody that would lay England or Holland on Friday. If £1 returned £1m it wouldn't be worth it. More chance of eleven Betfair forumites getting a result on Friday than the San Marinese.

I do remember when San Marino went 1-0 up inside 7 seconds, as an almost broke student I had a series of bets spread out in front of me £25 on 5-0, 6-0, 7-0 and 8-0.

I also remember the Wembley 0-0 v Montenego and struggles away to Andorra.

However San Marino haven't scored in an away game for 22 matches and have conceded 4 or more in 19 of those games. 1.01 is value

^ Aye, but Montenegro ain't San Marino. Lots of sides struggle at Andorra, they put up a good fight at home. San Marino do too sometimes; I remember they held Sweden with ten men 'til about the hour mark in the last qualifiers.

I was delighted to get on England at 1.02 last week...never thought I'd describe a pre-match price of 1.02 as great value, but here it is! In recent years, Czech Republic and Netherlands were less than 1.01 at home to San Marino - no money whatsoever available to back before kick-off - and wouldn't be surprised to see the same happen with this one.
