Had a win on MegaMinute Cluj-Man Utd --- and all i got was 100pounds! Please comment as i am GUTTED by the amount to say the least!

My previous history has not been great either... (to explain)... Promotion- place 5pounds Fixed Odds bet get 5pounds free bet! It took 10-20 emails and lots of calls JUST TO GET WHAT I WAS ENTITLED TO! And then they couldnt place a free bet on my account and had to credit me. Time and money spent was more than i got!!
For a huge reputable site i expected more. ..... more money, more help, more service, more in compensation.

BF don't have to do any promotions if they don't want to. We should be grateful for the ones that they do imo

Mega Minute... predict the minute of the 1st goal scored to win share of 5000 pounds.
The competition is not FREE taffkoi. Nothing is free.
Press Sports tab on betfair and promotions are above live scores/in play, 'themover'. Also press offers.

so you have won a share of £5000...what's wrong with that?

I won £100 for coming second in the Ryder Cup competition over the weekend. As I see it it's £100 Betfair didn't have to give me but these competitions are fun to have a go at and you should consider yourself lucky if you happen to hit a win in any of them. If you want more try buying 100 lottery tickets with it and consider it a free shot at becoming a multi-millionaire Laugh

stonecold- Just spotted that. The payments went through (or so I thought!) as themover says but sometimes they get stuck. I'll chase it up for you, and hopefully get it to you in the next 24/48 hours. Sorry about that.

Maybe give a few examples on previous winner ammounts? Number of entries on average etc.? None are listed i know!
At 10 pounds a go...

Oj - winning amount depends on number of winners, obviously. Sometimes the winners get more than you got, other times they get less. At the end of the day, if you were going to have a bet anyway, then winning £100 for guessing minute is pretty good business I think. If you weren't going to have a bet but decided to have a tenner to take part, then you're still well up.

I agree totaly, Mr manager. But no figures huh?! ok never mind. I was hoping for a trip to the Bahamas LOL. Im already in the next MegaMinute match (advert for others), so of course im ok with what i got, as such.
My gripe is that there is no real info on entries / to / prizes etc

I guess it is because of the previous entered promotion that i am still bitter: the huge ****-up in receiving my free 5 pounds, it still grieves me that it took all that time to credit it... which without MY OWN chasing would NEVER have happened. for eg. Promotions dept have credited it - no they havent - yes they have ,..sindrome. I guess somekind of compensation there for my efforts was too much to ask for. I mean, it wasnt even my fault. Just asking what i was entitled to!!!
Enough,..

I am grateful for your reply and one more? Whoops

If you dont want it, give it to cancer research or something. You got something as a bonus, stop being greedy.

Oj - we get a few thousand entries I believe. Obviously some minutes are more popular choices than others, and sometimes the prize pot is bigger or smaller. The money gets paid out though - you are evidence of that!

I can see that chasing a free bet like that is a pain in the backside - so, as a total one-off, we've put another free £5 bet in your account.

Hopefully you may think we have treated you the way a "huge reputable site" should Wink

To Betfair Manager2.. you obviously reviewed my statements, and i appreciate your gesture and speed of thought at what could be done. Now thats what i call service :) thank you. If only the other departments... oh never mind LOL
No seriously, it doesnt take much and i appreciate your efforts, again thank you.

On the thread sidenote... yes i won and was paid within 24 hours. And i hope others now played your promotion also.

But as no-one here seems to have had any winners (none posted), which is what i was hoping for, i shall end the thread here.

p.s. to those not already vilified for their abuse, i am not greedy or a cnt. Actually quite happy coz i WON.
p.p.s Oj has left the building...

It actually is free, mate. You just have to opt in when you're having a bet on the game.

If you're betting simply on the game because you are trying to mega minute you're a mug of the highest order Laugh

If you play the Megaminute and actually hope to win £5,000 then are going to have to predict '1' and hope the ball gets booted upfield pretty damn fast.

OP endlessly complains like a pi55flap and ends up getting even more (free) money from overly generous betfair.

Pretty much sums up life that only miserable douches get things for free- and they're still never happy.
