It was NOT a goal.

Certainly no daylight with the offside goal
|

By:
You aren't going to see much daylight at 9.30pm in September.
Attrocious decisions. |
|
By:
ye, offside should of stood, will get some dodgy decisions goin there way this season though.
but whole of the ball never crossed the line. |
|
By:
In your opinion.

fact, On what basis is it fact? Had it been given against my team, I certainly would not be complaining. |

On what basis is it fact?
it was not given, fact. that's it. |
|
By:
Cassanova, it is fact that it wasn't a goal but your "fact" observation was backing-up your opinion that it never crossed the line.
Different animals. |
|
By:
there was no goal line camera, so you have to allow compensation for the slight angle.
|
|
By:
The angle just shown on SSN has clear "daylight" between the ball and the line.
Just saying...... |
|
By:
Cass, I realise that this is now as irrelevant as it gets but talk me through which part of this ball isn't over the line!!!

I presume all the bookies will be refunding on the Everton win bets!

what I couldn't understand was why the player who headed the ball didn't just bury it in the back of the net.
a free header right in front of goal should never have led to a dispute about whether the ball was over the line or not. as it stands, he missed a sitter. |
