I`ve turned up, ticketless, at many Spanish grounds, and always got in. There are usually some scallywags touting a friends season ticket. 20-30 (dependent on your haggling skills) euros later, he`s bringing you through the turnstile. He has to accompany you, as he won`t want his friend`s season ticket disappearing back to Scotland. Yhe problem with this is that he will likely only have one ticket available, although, once my new friend rustled up three other tickets from his friends, but they weren`t for adjacent seats, obviously.
Much cheaper than a tout, because they`re opportunistic, delighted with 20 euros, rather than businessmen. As you also end up sitting next to them, sometimes you can have a good craic with them and their friends, getting more `involved` than you might if you are sitting there alone as the only foreigner. |

i was in madrid last year and real/barcelona had sold out. so we arrived at the ground in the afternoon and some strange french characters were selling tickets. we were utterly ripped off (800 euro for 4 tickets), but we got in and saw a great match.

I went to see Real Madrid v Albacete when Beckham played for them. No tickets available from the club but Tommy Tout had more than enough for me and 4 friends. He only wanted just over face value for them. Not like the touts here!
