Hernandez = one season wonder. Cant do anything but finish the work of others.
Not a team player. ok for 2 yard tap ins but nothing else to his game. |

fergus has never forgiven him for his performance in the CL final

what about Michael Carrick performance in the CL final and fa cup
By:
according to dawsy carrick better than xavi so he wouldnt be dropped

what has Javier Hernández done to be on the Subs?
Good question, he has done fack all lately, so not sure what he's done to earn a spot on the bench. |
By:
Would still walk into the pool team though,eh cob?
By:
mr eboue's response is ridiculous
if you watch united live you'll see that his movement is a major part of the teams attacking play - he is far better than welbeck |
By:
Needs to learn the offside rule
By:
stupid comment - he plays on the shoulder so he'll be offside from time to time
By:
Never got going after no pre-season and injuries last year. Not sure he'll get enough games this season but I think he's better than Welbeck.

stupid comment - he plays on the shoulder so he'll be offside from time to time From time to time yes, however he was offside 40 times and he only started 18 games last season. |
By:
all part and parcel of his game
to say that he needs to learn the offside rule is just flippant nonsense |
By:
Calm yourself down, it was a tongue in cheek comment. I'm quite sure he does know the offside rule........he just gets caught out a lot.
By:
i'm calm - just telling you your comment was a load of rubbish

I heard Fergie was furious when he found out that Hernandez' agent had been touting him around Europe's big clubs, apparently he's looking for a move because he cant get a first team game at United.
Fergie sees Hernandez as another Supersub like Solskjaer - I think Hernandez has other ideas. |
By:
Why does Hernandez get to have his nickname on his shirt?
By:
As i said a couple of weeks ago there would be disquiet in the strikers ranks at utd with RVP arriving.
Berbatov has left, and will be followed by either Chicha or Rooney IMO at some point. RVP and Wellbeck are Fergie's first choices currently. RVP will have to carry Utd this season if they are to seriously challenge for the title as the Midfield and Defense are poor to say the least. |
By:
wellbeck is CHRONIC, hernandez is twice the player
By:
I don't rate Welbeck that much Hernadez looks better to me if I were him and still couldn't get in the team come the end of the season I would start looking elsewhere.
By:
The thing is I can't see Hernandez having the all round game to be the number 1 striker at a top club in modern football. So either he drops down to be first choice at a second tier club, or he is rotated at a top club.

Often wondered that myself Mav. Surely they couldnt stop Lampard putting 'Lamps' on his, or Scholes 'Ginge' etc. Its weird.
By:
Aguero was allowed 'kun' Aguero on his shirt
By:
It generally seems to be South Americans only doesnt it?
By:
Michu isn't called Michu is he?
By:
gervinho is also a nickname and he gets away with it. It would be great to see english players take a stand and start putting things like "Stevie G" and "Wazza" etc on their shirts
By:
i think if you care about what players have on the backs of their shirts you need to take a look at your life
By:
thanks raj
By:
Christian Benitez at Birmingham the other year had 'Chucho' on his shirt
By:
I'll do it right now Raj. Any tips or advice?
