Well betfair app costs me yet ANOTHER bet

Placed bet on man city game for their to be more goals in second half, paid my £50 and money comes out of my account and says bet has been placed.  But it never says anything about the bet not being matched or lapsed, it just says bet placed £50 gone....come end of the game no money in my account.  Quick call to betfair shows my bet lapsed cos nobody took it on, but why the **** doesnt it say this in the betfair app?  Its the second time this has happened to me in the space of a week, and its bloody stupid.  The app should be deleted cause its a bloody con.
