Hot topics today of course:
Affelay to Schalke van der Vaart to Hamburg Start of matchday 2 with Mainz vs Greuther Fürth |

Nein, keine Interesse, Danke.

does anyone else fancy Mainz to win tonight?
By:
I'm really not sure about this one, because Fürth played vs Munich in their first match where they lost 0-3, but they were not as bad as it looks. Mainz on the other hand were also not very convincing in their first match, but it's not so easy to win in Freiburg as well.
I'd say the safer bet is o1.5 here. Mainz probably favourite here, but it's their first meeting in 1st league and their 2nd league stats are: 5-2-15, 27:45 goals in favour of Fürth. |

do you know much about the Bundesliga 2 Prele? Looking for some decent sites in English if you are aware of any. Many thanks
By:
Hm, no, i dont know any. Maybe the easiest would be to translate pages like
http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/2bundesliga/startseite.html or http://www.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/zweiteliga/index.html into English. |
By:
yeah cheers mate for the reply. Yeah I do that already but the translation doesn't be the best sometimes. Thanks!!!
By:
well, i guess if you have questions you can just ask them here, i also follow the 2nd league, but not as much as 1st.

By:
No, interest in what, prele?!

Any views on the Div 2 early kick offs? Most likley for goals?

I was lucky to bet on Paderborn (i wrote it in anothber thread before, they are nearly always good for o2.5), but actually expected a win.
Today it's the Berlin derby in Div2: 1. FC Union Berlin - Hertha BSC Last 10 games: Hertha: 6x o3.5, 4x o2.5 Union: 2x o3.5, 2x o2.5 Latest results season 2012/13 Hertha: 2:2 v Paderborn (H), 1:3 v Frankfurt (A), 2:1 v Regensburg (H) Union: 3:3 v Kaiserslautern (A), 0:1 v Braunschweig (H), 0:2 v Sandhausen (A) I guess the safe bet here is probably o1.5. Another option is lay Hertha. The last two matches 2 years ago went 1:1 and 2:1 for Union, I'm pretty sure the stadium will be hell's kitchen. |

It is interesting that there are two clubs in Bundesliga 1 at the moment that have a streak of 15 or more matches on Un4.5, those are Borrusia Menhengladbach and Hamburg. Judging from your avatar, prele, I think you know a lot about Hamburg FC, it is little suprising for me that they have to lead this stat. Any obvious reasons for 18 straight matches in Bundesliga without having 5+ goals?
By:
Hamburg's top scorer last season got a miserly 7 goals.
By:
Borussia by the way have 23 straight matches on Un4.5 and they seem to be quite attacking side also

Well, Gladbach costed me a few times last season so this one I try to avoid them. They just to be a "safe" bet for o2.5, but for some reason they can't seem to find the goal anymore, especially after Marco Reus and some others left, De Jong still not really working in the new team. I think they might still take a few weeks until they start scoring again.
Hamburg lacked an OM, which they now found in van der Vaart. But the main problem is the strikers, they need too many chances to score (Berg), they are not playing in the position they prefer (Son) or they didn't adjust to the league yet (Rudnevs). I really hope that once they get fed by vdV they start scoring again. They have a potentially good offense now, especially with the new midfield (Jiracek, Badelj, vdV). Jansen left win, Beister right win, Rudnevs in front. But until they prove otherwise, lay of Hamburg is nearly a safe bad these days, sadly. |

Do you fancy Bayern to stop Dortmund invasion this season?
By:
Good idea to start this thread and maybe, just maybe some Germans may contribute although they usually just stick to their own board..
Too early to say about Bayern IMO but one thing is for sure : they are rarely a value bet on here. I live in Stuttgart and can report that there `s loads of wailing & gnashing of teeth going on down here - the natives are getting restless after their dreams based on ludicrously high hopes have already been dashed. Hope the thread stays alive |
By:
Dortmund showed already that they are more vulnerable this season in the back, but they probably get better with each game. Still I think this season it's going to be really hard to beat Munich. I'd say 60:40 chances for Munich to win the championship. the Dortmund v Munich games might be the deciding matches.
By:
Interesting that you say it may come down to the Bayern v Dortmund games.
That implies you think those two will walk over the rest a la Scotland (not anymore obv.). That would certainly buck the trend of the Bundesliga since I`ve been following it. There have been loads of upsets in the last 5 years or so with all sorts of strange results and both Wolfsburg & Stuttgart have won the league in that time.. Why do you see that changing? |
By:
RAPS, did you find a proxy server or whats the score with betfair over there?
Stuttgart will continue to disappoint until Labbadia is given the boot. |

We got saved for the time being as BF was lucky enough to get a license from Schleswig-Holstein in the brief period when the govt. there was handing em out. The new govt. in S-H has said they will retrospectivly cancel these licenses and that will likely involve yet another protracted court saga where BF, Bet365 and BWIN will challenge this.
So, long story short : safe for now but it`s just another battle in a long war so not holding my breath, as for the Poxy Service you mentioned best never mention that on here again IMO. |

Augsburg - Wolfsburg today, my money will be on laying the home side.
By:
Hm, hard to say, both not in form. I guess i will go for o2.5 goals. Augsburg will try to win and so will Wolfsburg, but both make many mistakes.
By:
Fair enough, but Augsburg just lacks class in my opinion.
By:
cointoss probably, thats why i back goals, gl with augsburg, i hope they win, hate wolfsburg

Hoffenheim lay and Hamburg o2.5 and win
By:
thats probably the hamburg supporter talking obviously, but with van der Vaart i think its possible
By:
Are Hoffenheim a safe Lay? Thanks for the thread btw.
By:
Its hard to win in Freiburg, they barely lose and it's different to play there. They've won 4 and drew 5 under their new coach at home. Hoffenheim only won 4 games out of the last 16, they are under high pressure

Okay thats. Appreciate you knowledge, good luck today
