40 minute halves.

Penalties after 90 minutes (if needed) with the winners getting 2 points and the losers 1.

Are there any other competitions where it's better to go to penalties than lose in normal time???

It's 40 minutes each half and there will also apparently be a water break midway through each half too

The format suggests it could be a low score...but then again the Japan U19's tend to have high scoring games.

Decisions...decisions....

No idea. Google 'SBS Cup Japan 2012' and 4th option done on the searches should be a PDF called 2012 SBS CUP INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SOCCER.

Lists the competition rules and everything you need to know.

The Japanese get tired easily...being little and all that.

As they're only kids, it's probably a milk and biscuit break.
