They should pass the details to the police, its a cyber attack, a weak Denial of Service attack at a push. Set the police on the child, and put some safeguards in place.
Its a deliberate attack to damage their business

I come on here and cringe at what I find, and yet not so long ago (sad as it might sound)I'd look forward to sitting down after an hard day to relax and see what was being discussed on here, loads of interesting or funny thread to get involved in. If the police did visit any of them to have a word, as a result of stuff from here being forwarded, they could potentially be detained under the mental health act if they started babbling like they do on here.

The Dole Threads guy could well be charged with Hate Speech and find himself in a world of sh!t with the way the police look at stuff like that these days.

I always thought Betquack were losing potential betting revenue by not having a forum....I know for sure I have bet on some events that I wouldn't have touched or looked at without forum posts but nowadays you login to the forum have have to wade through threads before finding anything worth reading about. Even some of the match threads just disappear off the page, I remember you always used to be able to find a match thread for the one you were interested in following, nowadays threads aren't even created in a lot of cases.

This was exactly the case when I joined the forum. The game threads were excellent with some really good people on them. RIP

If this forum matters that much to folks here, the answer is super simple: just ignore the offending threads. The posters will soon get fed up, and I imagine the forum will be a lot less of a mess.

I think there are a lot of great people on the forum and on busy sporting nights the place is still a brilliant place to discuss sport. There are a few morons but the majority of folk are worth reading. Its upto betfair to get rid of the halfwits.

I very rarely use this forum now and stick to Twitter.

My understanding is that BETFAIR do not monitor these forums.

It's is monitored by TSE global they rely on people bring offensive stuff to their attention..I'm not sure the report function achieves much

Shockingly poor forum nowadays ......I rarely bother with it now.

A good while ago, I got invited ( along with about 8 or 9 others ) to an online focus group to discuss this very subject. I have to say that it appears to have been a complete waste of Betfairs money ( we each got £20 for our time plus whatever the cost of hosting the event was).

It's only going to get worse once the football season starts proper.

These forums used to be much more tightly policed before the Betfair founders sold out.

You needed a funded account to post. (this one is coming back)
You needed to pass KYC. (this may also be coming back)
They would also actively police rampers who were urging people to bet one way, while placing the opposite bets on the exchange. This rule they took very seriously indeed. Since they stopped bothering with this latter rule, the forums quickly went downhill.

The good news is there are many more betting communities out there to choose from and participate in. I know of two populated by those who were harshly banned from here (during premium charge rollout), or just left voluntarily. The best one is now invite-only though and seldom do they approve new members.
