Been away for most of the weekend so only just got a chance to post this one...Full staking & odds etc on the site @ www.bettingriver.co.uk but analysis has been posted below for anyone who might be interested.

Last recommendation didn't come in but that is to be expected when you are betting...as long as you can acknowledge this and work with it, you can make money...Full details of my own personal "Investment Plan" can be read here if you wanted to know more http://www.bettingriver.co.uk/HowThisWorks.php

Anyway, I'm being side tracked...Latest match analysis is...

31st July 2012 – CRB vs Ipatinga - Serie B (Brazilian)

CRB are one of 5 teams who are all mid-table on 17 points from 13 games. CRB had a slow start to the season losing 3 of their first 4 games. Since then they have settled down and have started to pick up points. Their current form isn’t too bad and they have won 3, drawn 2 and lost 2 in their last 7 games. However, it is worth noting that the games they lost were away to Criciuma and Vittoria who are first and second in the league.

Their home form is very convincing having only drawn 1 and lost 1 of their 7 games at home scoring 17 and conceding 10.

Ipatinga, as we have previewed in other games, are bottom of the league and are really struggling to get any sort of grip on this league. Their current form shows they haven’t picked up a point in their last 11 games as well as losing all 6 of their away matches so far this season, scoring only 3 goals and conceding a huge 17.

Review

CRB are doing well and have been picking up points against the rest of the teams around and below them. Ipatinga are not picking up points anywhere and are conceding left, right and center and I don’t see any reason why this is going to change in this fixture.

I must admit jammy, I think we are spoilt for choice tonight.

Agree with your assesment of the CRB game and have also been looking at these 2...........

Goiás vs. ABC

Goiás -

* 1 defeat in 12 league games (and that was away at table topping Criciuma)
* Unbeaten at home in Serie B since 24th Sep 2011 (winning a very impressive 83% in the progress)
* 16 points out of a possible 18 at home this season
* They have only conceded 4 in their 6 home games this season and scored an average of 2 a game.

ABC -

* Lost 5 out of the last 10 league games.
* The only away games that they have gained any points from have been against teams below them (15th, 16th, 19th and 20th).  ABC are 14th, Goiás are 5th.

----------------------

Criciúma vs. Guarani

Criciúma -

* Top of the pile with good reason…..they have won every home game this season!
* Only 1 defeat so far this season.
* Boast a strong attack being the top scorers both home and away (also resulting in them having the best GD in the league)

Guarani -

* No wins away this season and only picking up a paltry 4 points out of a possible 24.
* Shocking away goal record (4 in 7)
* Poor overall attack as only scoring 13 in 13 (however they do have a tight defence having only shipped 13 also)

'good things' in betting too often my undoing but this IS a win treble. All aboard.   bank the winnings in time for the 1.50 games.

robd270: I have looked at all of the Brazilian games this evening and have also recommended a home win for America RN (in fact, I'll post that analysis up in a bit or you can see it on the site @ www.bettingriver.co.uk if you want) but there was something niggling at me about the Criciúma game...

In theory, this should be a decent home win as they home form is superb with them scoring on average 3 a game...BUT...Guarani seem to setup not to lose away from home and have managed 4 draws on their travels...

I think this was what caused me not to get involved but if I was going to take it on then it would probably be a medium size stake on Criciuma to win...Draw no bet could also be a good option...

Good luck whatever you decide...

my instincts are telling me that none of these are bomb proof

im going to watch them in play and decide once i see the sides line up

ClacherHoliday2: Completely agree with that...Results can go against you even in the most "nailed on" games...I've learnt to treat betting as an Investment and apply strict Money Management rules so that I can have a long run of losers but still remain in the game.

I'm looking for long term returns which doesn't appear to suit most of the forum users who seem to want an instant return...Some of course get this, but I find most tend to end up losing or giving back their winnings when over confident...

you can learn alot watching just 5 minutes of a game, the prices very rarely take too much of a swing from the pre-off odds

when im not sure id always rather have a look

Ok cheers for the advice jammy.

I completely agree with you regarding money management and i'm against the 'boom and bust' mentality that seems to prevail on the forum.

I personally try to protect my stake where I can (DNB's, trading out etc...) as I think it's wise to remember that tomorrow is another day and potential betting propostions are always available to those with patience.

Good Luck

on a risk factor of 1-100 with 1 virtually meaning free money and 100 meaning impossible outcome

what would you say to an CRB and American RN double ?
By:

When: 31 Jul 12 23:19
md49vd: I had contemplated putting up a Double recommendation on these two games but I try and stay away from Doubles, Trebles and Accu's because, in my own experience, one team always seems to let you down no matter have nailed on they are...

I was VERY tempted to double up on these though but after sitting back and thinking about it, I was already risking enough of my capital on the two individual bets.

As for putting a figure against it as you asked, this is very subjective so would make my own mind up if I were you and follow that instinct as its your money you are playing with...for the record, I'd say around 35 on your scale :O)

robd270: Money Management is so important if you want to return a regular profit in my mind. As you say, there will always be new betting opportunities in the future, and it is important that you are in the game to take advantage of them.

When you do have a few winners or losers its important not to change your staking amount accordingly. Most people get over confident or chase losers and end up in a worse situation.

If you are interested, the rules I try to follow and adhere to are here http://www.bettingriver.co.uk/HowThisWorks.php but even I find it difficult to sometimes which is why I have to keep reading them to remind myself why and what I am doing...

Its worked so far having taken 15% profit as of right now but am quite heavily invested in tonight's games. Two winners should take me close to my first drawn down point which is 25% profit...

Hope everyone got on board and made a nice profit.

Just realised I didn't post my second recommendation on here which was a America RN home win which they manage. Full details are on the site at www.bettingriver.co.uk if you did want to have a read.

My project is now only 0.65% away from its first draw down target of 25% profit...Hoping to get there this week but you never know when a losing streak is going to happen so always best to take each bet at a time and keep to the same mindset when staking...

desperatemunter: Good shout on the Joinville game...I wasn't convinced myself before the game so didn't back it...Glad you did though...
