You have to ring them, there is no other option. I've had the same problem and also the Mastercard problem (this is common) but you HAVE to ring them. It will only take 5 mins BTW.

this is true and a pain in the arse but i believe its some kind of FSA regulation, deactivate your card and ask for the money by electronic payment, doesnt cure the problem long term but

I have withdrawn money to an expired card. Expired means you can't use it to get cash out of the bank but you can use it to pay in.

Just ring them, anyone at the helpdesk can delete your old card off the system within a minute or 2 and your problem will be solved

Its not a big problem so don't worry. i had this issue also. it's just a safety mechanism only affecting accounts with more than one card registered to them. It is done to prevent someone else registering their card onto your account and then depositing all your hard won funds into their bank. So whenever you register a new card you cannot withdraw more than you have deposited from the new card.
If you ring Betfair they will remove your old card from the account and you can then withdraw as much as you have in your Betfair account to your new card. I asked a similar question on the forum about 6 months ago and got about 30 replys, none of which were of any real help. |
