Last pre-season saw Barca lose friendlies to Guadalajara, Man Utd and Espanyol, and draw with Hadjuk Split and Internacional. Got to be worth a lay at 1.76 (or even a modest back of Hamburg ar 5.2) especially as Hamburg have already played 3 friendlies and this is Barca's first.

If you're laying them then get in quick they're on the drift, gone to 1.83 already. Once more people realise Messi is injured and it's basically a reserve side, i think they might get closer to evens come kick off

Yep, graph shows a pretty steady drift on Barca from 1.5. As you say, this mornings news about Messi might push it out further (I understand he was named in the original squad then pulled out?). Hopefully around 2 or above at KO.
