Thinking of laying Utd today, even just for the trade. Priced at 1.20 at the minute so defo not backing them at those odds, especially after that horrible game last week.

Thoughts on this lads? Will they give a poor performance like last week or cop themselves on?

Man city and chelsea will leave everybody for dust this year. You can throw a blanket over the others IMO, Arsenal, Manu, AVB spurs, Newcastle with cisse from the start, Everton with Jelavic from the start, and Rodgers' Liverpool who could be anywhere from 3rd to 10th this season

Chelsea have currently announced Roberto Di Matteo will be in charge for the start of next season.  Currently you can lay Chelsea at 18.5's to win the Champions League.  Surely you are seeing this as a great value lay then?

Anybody who looks at stats and records from beyond two years ago, let alone 20, and believes they have any relevance has a nerve to give out betting advice tbf.

Chelsea have added Oscar, Hazard, Marin, De Bruyne, and no way is Roman finished yet. In a month Chelsea's midfield has gone from ponderous to the most exciting in the prem, with strength in depth to boot.

Pretty good being a stoke fan. Expected to lose, expectations fail, love it. Paid out on to go down after 1 game first season, nice one.

You will never know the joy of beating 'big' teams like Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool when we were given no chance at all. You expect to win, which is why it is so funny when you don't (quite a common occurrence these days).

Bit like if you beat Barcelona in a  big game, big if though Wink

Quality comment, I should just give up on the team I'm passionate about and support Utd and expect to win everything Cool

I pity you. You feel it the norm to win, and completely gutted to lose. The only buzz you could possibly get that would be close to when we beat a top 4 team is beating Barcelona, and that's not happening any time soon.

Love it, hate on united and they will be back stonger, 20 years of the premier league there has only been one season where united have failed to reclain their trophy back. This is not luck, it is just the united way, united were never really playing great football all season yet lost the title with 90 seconds to go to the best playing teams in the league which people said, so all their great football is pretty much the equivalent of when we play **** how funny UNITED!!!!

I'm just making the point Salford thinks it's a problem for other fans if they don't win anything, it's all about a club's/fan's expectations and how their team go about meeting them.
