£10 - £10000 challenge in 74 bets @ 1.10 odds is fairly handy inplay.
it was posted in another thread on here and jut thought id ask as im looking for a fun thing to try.
i will be posting my bets on here but doing it with another account(different bookies) as on here im doing the over under goals challenge thing
just wondered how people had got on if trying it and i also wondered if the maths was wrong as this seems not a lot of bets for the increase. i may end up doing the maths if i get bored.
anyway my first bet is david ferrer to beat gregor dimitrov. it was a back in play and i got the 1/10 required

it is 74 bets if you're going in full bank everytime for a 10% increase,
though obviously 74 bets in a row even at those odds is virtually impossible, best of luck all the same though. |

im not just taking every 1.1 bet i see...i will try and be selective...ie avoid most WTA etc. but i think wit discipline etc i can get a good few. i might do the odd withdrawal along the way and as im using another exchange (swaped since my first bet as i prefer exchange betting) there will be a small comission loss so i may have to do more to hit the target. i may loose, i may get to a certain point and decide to give up and withdraw all or some. Time will tell but hopefully it will be fun. might even get one or two others to give it a try. we shall see how it goes but il keep posting just incase someone is interested |

@ pault - I think it is definitely worth a go but I wouldnt post my bets on here, posting bets on here pre match is a sure way to jinx it.

I've tried this system one time.
I've reached about 300+ from 20. My system was to make 1.04+ bets. You can make about $40K from $20 in 200+ bets using this system. But a lack of discipline ruined my plan. I began to use these money to trade in-play. For example: I was backing 1.2 to lay at 1.16. I was making 3-4 trades in one game. And in the end of this run I made a bet on some NBA team and these mugs began to lose heavily so I lost almost all my profit and stopped this.. |

And last thing, I think that 1.10 isn't very safe. It would be hard to win 70 bets with 1.10.

I've got to about 300/400 quite a few times backing 1 goal or more but you will always hit a 0-0 sooner or later, or if your really unlucky like I have been, you'll hit 2 or 3 in a row!
My personal opinion is that its a bet that sounds very easy but infact its actually virtually impossible unless your the luckiest person in the universe! If you were gonna do it id go for more of the unders bets than overs, purely from my own experience! Good luck though, post your bets! |

my 2nd bet was on cricket but i was out of the house at the time.
(I/R) Hampshire v Durham (TV) - Match Betting £11 @1.1 it won but hasnt been settled yet villa im also doing the under 6.5 thing on another thread on here. im actually enjoying it...its a bit slow as im just starting but it wil speed up as my stake gets higher |

I've done this a load of times, and lads that say it's impossible are wrong! Of course it's possible (if you can get 10 in a row then there's no reason why can't you get 74 in a row, you just have to be selective and be patient)
Anyway, I've got to bet 30-40 numerous times but I haven't had the balls to go "all-in" each time!! I've started again yesterday and I'm currently on bet number 15 :) But again, I haven't gone all-in each time, wish I had! Good luck with your bets mate :) |

I've got one running currently started with £20 and max of two bets a day. I've put the formula into an excel spreadsheet so i can update it daily and keep the funds separate from my normal betting.

i have an account here and an account with another bookmakers...my only problem in doing this is that i get charged commission with both accounts.
what is your in play bet and what is the account balance after 38 bets? if you dont mind telling your bet that is |

Bet 39 is under 4.5 goal Gombak V Tanjong, Will take my 10% challenge to £748.09. I've not figured out to formula it minus commission so i top up the deduction from funds on the account.

my last post was meant to explain that i just use 1 account for this. i dont bet other things with it.
with my other account im playing the over 6.5 goals thread...im on the gombak game at under 5.5 goals in that account. hopefuly we will both be winners here...you win substantially more though...you are much further in |

Just going to reply here if that's alright so everyone can see! :) If you start with £10 then it will take 74 bets to get to £10'000 after 10 bets you should have £25/£26 20 bets - £67 30 bets - £175 40 bets - £453 50 bets - £1'174 60 bets - £3'045 70 bets - £7'898 74 bets - £11'563 Simple as that lads!! Just make sure you don't go for it in one day or you will lose! Also try get a bit of value too, by waiting a while inplay for the price to increase (for overs that is) Good luck again lads :) |

Higher risk now though mate. I'm at the point where I'm looking like claiming winnings and restarting. So if you're gonna keep this thread going I'd probably restart from £20 and post on her from scratch

Yeah I don't think anyone would blame you for taking the profit mate, any profit is good profit.

Here's one,
I was hoping this would be 0-0 HT so I could get some value :) Gombak V Tanjong - Over 0.5 goals @ 1.20 Gombak only had 2 0-0 results in last 50 games and Tanjong only had 2 0-0 results in last 45 games so it would be very unlucky to end 0-0 :) |

zeze thanks for that...its a good guide to doing this. iv got a long way to go yet but im hoping to get to about 1000 then id probs draw out and start again.
ked...its good that you have an idea of when you want to draw out...did you come into it with a target or just decide enough is enough? |

I made my mind up when i started getting silly and thinking about £250556.60 @ 100 bets. best to get out now for £700 and restart!

I've gone higher a few times but tried to stay below 1.15 for this challenge

Obviously it's better to get value if you can, if you know that a goal is likely in a game then try wait a small bit into the game for better value on over 0.5 etc. I try go for 1.20 - 1.30, I only do it on games that look good for a goal and is 0-0 (Basically I try put myself in the same situation I would be in if I took 1.09/1.10)

this is the equivalent of getting 3 10-1's in a row
i know which one sounds easier but the odds are the same i think rather than just take the 1.1 's mix it up eg lay a few 10-1's the more people try this challenge the more likely it is that someone will eventually succeed has anyone succeeded yet? |

i once tried using betfair rapid waiting for the first horse inplay to go to 1.05 then one clicking backing
