Whats the reason for this?
Report tennislover • July 7, 2012 7:05 PM BST
Because goverment needs money, and as its the situation now a lot of money spend by cypriot gamblers. And the money goes out of the country withoung the goverment take any percentage. Betting companies will be legal if they want to operate in cyprus they will have to buy licence and pay fees. Betting exchanges like betfair will be illegal and they cannot operate as betting exchanges because "as policis says" these companies are used by criminals to bet for fixed games. So no more trading. Like in Italy, Spain, France an so on..
