I think Italy has more chances to win the Euro. Thay were better in 1st game in the group stage. Italy were better than Spain in 2 games at play-off.
So, Lay Spain 2,16 is a great stake and for trading also. Italy a little better than Spain, but bookies are blind. Wink But we are not blind. Excited
Real coeff on win Spain must be 2,80 Excited

how on earth anyone can think Italy...Pirlo don't got the ball Italy lose...Spain control midfield and Pirlo don't get a kick...Spain will win so very comfortably.

I didn't notice that Spain can control a ball against Italy and Portugal. 90 mins a draw 1-1, extra time Italy win or a draw 0-0. This is more real, than Spain will win in 90 mins.

Spanish attack is too slow and not sharp. Italian attack is great, Cassano, Balotelli, Pirlo, De Rossi, Diamanti and so on. They are more sharp.

Italy can do nothing without the ball except get very tired chasing it.

Against Portugal Spain had a ball 57%. Italy is more faster than Portugal and Germany. Before tourament I tell that Russia and Italy can bring surprise, because they are fastest teams.

Spain is not very good at scoring goals. Hard to win when you can't score a goal.

Spain v Portugal 0-0
Spain v Croatia 1-0(88th minute - was Handball - when Croatia chasing a goal to stay in tournament)
Spain v Italy 1-1 (a game Italy should have won 3-1)

Hardly a prolific scoring record against the good teams.

This will be an interesting game, After the group game, Italy is probably the only team at the tournament that actually believes they are better than Spain and that they can win by taking them on.

The Spanish players aren't without their own psychological advantage having won the Euros and the WC, success breeds success and belief but they too know Italy is a danger to their dreams, pressure? We'll have to wait and see.

My money is going on Italy, they are over the odds and the price is still getting out.

You can argue that black figures for Spain is also a good price, and normally i'd agree with you but how and who is going to score for Spain? They don't look like scoring and they certainly haven't played like they actually have a system how to score.

Xavi + Silva ......you wouldn't even know they are at the Euros. Actually, Those two probably sum up Spain best. They could, they should, they would but they haven't.

If Pirlo is marked out of the game,Italy lose.
You pays your money and take your chance.
All things considered,Spain have this in their own hands.
The 'smart' money is on Spain.
The 'hopeful' money is on Italy.
Spain win.

Spain have done what has been required to progress...if you look at both sides from a defence view then Spain will not concede...Italy were lucky early on v Ingerland & Germany...Spain have not seriously been 'under the cosh' at all.
Spain will win tonite, i have no doubts at all.

Come on, Italy is not only Pirlo. Cassano, De Rossi, Balotelli, and others are great and they look better than Spanish players.

[b]If Pirlo is marked out of the game,Italy lose.

If Iniesta is man marked then Spain wont score a goal if they play for 3 months.

The 'smart' money is on Spain.
The 'hopeful' money is on Italy.

I disagree, I think you have that backwards.

Spain is favourite because of past deeds not because of the scintillating form that they are in.

AGAIN, Italy outplayed Spain in the group game and it wasn't even close. Should have beaten them 3-1. Italy put their easy chances away tonight they will win by 2 goals or more.

Spain rely on and hope that one of their midfielders will score them a goal.

When you have to HOPE that is not good for a "smart money bet".

Yep, nobody can score goal from Spain, very poor attack. Spanish attack without Villa is zero.

italy have the players to take it too spain just like they did against germany and create many chances. Remember all the chances portugal had...italy too will create these chances. All the free kicks ronaldo had pirlo would deifnately have nailed one at the least and i can see him scoring one tonight
