If Rooney had moved to La Liga or Serie A (and stayed there)at a young age, he probably would be a world class player today.

He isn't a natural athlete and you can see as he ages it will be a big problem to keep his weight down. Sure he will score a few against the distinctly average premiership defences but will struggle at any higher level.
If he wasn't a footballer he would just be another brain dead porker in a tracksuit of which this country now has millions.

Can't for the life of me understand why Hodgson announced after the 2nd game that Rooney was straight back in the team,after we had just scored 3 goals without him.Big mistake knowing the physical condition he was in.Even fully fit ,he is not good enough at this level.
    And why was wellbeck subbed as Rooneys legs had gone by h/t.
