Sorry just cant see it happeneing.

Did not do himself any favours while he was at Chelsea - looked a bit out of his depth in English Football.

Spurs Priority will be to get back into Champions League which means someone who knows English football - AVB does not.

And if it is going to be Tim Sherwood taking over as Director of Football - dont think AVB will want that.

I'm not a Spurs fan and I know absolutely nothing, but the AVB talk - for me - is a smokescreen as I cannot see Levy getting tha fans onside for that.

Laurent Blanc, sure, maybe, but I think Spurs will want and need an experienced Manager - experienced with English football, but with experience of European football too

Cant and wont suggest any names, dont think they'll move for Martinez.

Maybe a dutch or german guy

Cannot in a  million years see it as AVB - he needs to prove himself elsewhere

Lay him then!

Its the next logical step for him. If he does well ie. gets to the later stages of the Europa, he can then move on to a big club Wink

Well, I'm a Spurs fan and he definitely has me onside for that.

AVB has gone from being the most sort after manager in the world (after pep) to useless because of a bad experience with the Chelsea "we are more important than the club" players?

Bring him in, Mr Levy.

"sought" even

I'd say it's more the way it went wrong at chelsea, (coupled with how spectacularly right it went once the senior players had got rid of him) that's the issue.

that plus the way he's behaving now make you think the guy's got a very inflated opinion of himself, and I can see levy getting less and less keen the more he has to deal with it.

Most sought after after manager? LOL
Report viva el presidente! June 22, 2012 4:53 PM BST
on the other hand, levy's pretty cunning.

maybe he's going to bring him in, wait for some really big mid season cup games to come along, then sack him in the hope that the resulting feelgood effect will carry them to a trophy.

Would that be the players AVB totally misjudged who went on to win the Champions League, who if AVB had stayed on would have had no chance of winning anything? He thought he was bigger than the players and their was only one winner ,champions league winners Wink

Didn't Chelsea pay Porto something like £12m or £13m to release him from his contract ?.

I'd say that makes someone sought after, unless you can post the names of a few managers who've been 'bought' for more ?.

yeah, but chelsea prices are like citeh prices: not governed by rationality or the market.

AVB Will enjoy the scenario with Sherwood... he is Portugese u see, they do it that way, heez a coach a good one... just at chelsea he was asked to be the manager of a team of disrespectful t**** will do a good job if he gets it.
Report viva el presidente! June 22, 2012 5:56 PM BST
one of the things that he was criticised for at chelsea was apparently (who knows really) having no holds barred, say what you really think team discussions - then marginalising players who said things he didn't like.

that coupled with his behaviour now make me think he may be a bit of a self-absorbed tw@t.

Yes, Chelsea won the champions league after he left. But even the most blinkered chelsea fan knows they were very very lucky.

And their league form post AVB was spectacular as well was it?

And while we are on the subject, why is everyone believing all the **** in the papers about him? These reporters been speaking to him have they?
