Do you think that's the best period to start betting with such an amount of money?
Maybe it would be better to wait until championships in EU starts.
Anyway, I hope you achive your goal :) GL

I will kick this log off in the United States. One tip to watch out for this season is San Jose Earthquakes who have the highest average match goals in the western conference of the Major League at 3.14 which is only bettered by New York from the eastern conference with 3.43 average goals per game.

---------

USA - Houston Dynamo v Toronto - Houston Dynamo Draw no bet - 1/6
USA - Colorado Rapids v San Jose Earthquakes - over 1.5 goals - 4/15
USA - Vancouver Whitecaps v New York - over 1.5 goals - 1/3

Bet: £500
Bookmaker: Stan James

Report dreambrother09 June 21, 2012 11:39 AM BST
I know, it won this time. But assuming somebody sets up something like this, by using such a large percentage of your bank as your stake, it wouldn't take too much to lose. Still, if somebody makes £100,000 from £1000, I will shut my gob and start listening lol

Thanks Supersmith, you would have to go back 17 MLS games to find Toronto scoring 3 or more goals but we came out with a profit regardless.
Report AdvantageHandicapping June 22, 2012 2:02 PM BST
And we are off and running.

USA - Houston Dynamo v Toronto - Houston Dynamo Draw no bet - 1/6 (3-3)
USA - Colorado Rapids v San Jose Earthquakes - over 1.5 goals - 4/15 (1-2)
USA - Vancouver Whitecaps v New York - over 1.5 goals - 1/3 (1-1)

Balance: £1,344

For the next bet I am going to Japan which includes my top Asian team for overs bets, Júbilo Iwata, who again this season are living up to their reputation with 3.64 average match goals and currently top the Japanese League in this regard.

Argentina - Newells Old Boys v Lanus - Newells Old Boys & Draw - 2/9
Japan - Kashiwa Reysol v Kashima Antlers - over 1.5 goals - 2/9
Japan - Nagoya Grampus Eight v Jubilo Iwata - over 1.5 goals - 1/5

Bet: £672
Bookmaker: Bet365
Report JoshT June 22, 2012 2:14 PM BST
eh what the hell, if he's willing to put 672 on it, i'll put 250 on it, you can get 1.93 with betfair on this treble

TheKingOfKong: "Should get RSL in that lad."

If you mean Real Salt Lake my analysis did show that as a bet based on this seasons early season form however I didn't go with that bet as you have to take the previous season into account when dealing with a minimal available statistical information in the early stages of the season and betting against last seasons most successful team with 67 points in the regular season and a losing percentage of 14.7% at odds on will usually not prove to be profitable.

We have gone 2 for 2 and it looks to be a good opening weekend for the log.

Argentina - Newells Old Boys v Lanus - Newells Old Boys & Draw - 2/9 (0-0)
Japan - Kashiwa Reysol v Kashima Antlers - over 1.5 goals - 2/9 (1-1)
Japan - Nagoya Grampus Eight v Jubilo Iwata - over 1.5 goals - 1/5 (2-0)

Balance: £1,876

To put the cherry on top and double the bankroll in the opening weekend we will be going back to the USA and once again to the old familiar favourites San Jose who will be trying to avoid a backlash from Salt Lake who lost 3-2 during the week to a resurgent LA Galaxy.

USA - Real Salt Lake v San Jose Earthquakes - over 1.5 goals - 1/4

Hi guys

How does this betting work, for example he's betting on 3 results, it take it this is a multiple bet.

How does he spread his money(lump sum) over the 3 bets, what kind of bet is this, i take it if he loses any one of the bets he doesn't lose all the lump sum.

So again what kind of bet is this, does he say to the bookie "I want to spread my money over these 3 bets" or something like that?

Or if one of the bets doesn't come through has he lost all his money?
Report ieardthatpardon June 30, 2012 8:38 AM BST
using half stake and yes hed lose bet if one fails in the multi
Report arams June 30, 2012 8:44 AM BST
So it is a multi bet, ok thanks. Win all, lose all.

Risky stuff. I suppose it's the same risk as single bets though you will either win or lose. At least on betfair you can lay a bet in-play if your losing, or visa versa.

Why doesn't he use betfair, i thought the best odds were on here?

well good look, i think you should stop and start again if you get to 10k you will then have 10 banks of 1k, then see how often you can get to 10k with a 50% of bank staking plan

This is achievable if he doesn't play all games every time and plays for wins rather then punts..and doing good stat analysis and following the team news for injuries to main players, weather conditions and just not hurry up without any analysis. also banking profits after sometime and not have a feeling of power(invinciability) after few wins.

well of course the target is achievable and yes he would need to do everything you said

but would still need a better staking plan

discipline + good strategy + good analysis + good bank management = success

and £500 on the first bet = bad bank management
