Really is much of a muchness with the likes of Lennon, Walcott and Wright-Phillips, headless chickens that can run very fast, but without that pace wouldn't even be close to making it as a professional footballer.
Milner is slow, doesnt score goals, one assist per 37 games. Woy doesn't believe in stats though... so he will be safe
Milner is distinctly average too, and is there purely for his work ethic, putting in a good shift as we tend to call it.
Let's face it, there was very little to choose from and not much difference in quality.
Our football is backward and light years behind the high on technique possession football of the likes of Spain, hence the lack of hype and expectation that normally surrounds each major tournament we enter.
