1.92 right now. They need to win in order to have any chances to advance in the quarter-finals. Ronaldo must get his sh1te together in this one, him on the left plus Nani on the right side should create tons of chances. But the portuguese defense is not reliable and they could easily allow minimum one goal today.

What do you think?

Denmark and Portugal are two very closely matched teams in FIFA ranking - 9 and 10.

Germany and Netherlands are also two very closely ranked teams at about 2 and 3 in the rankings and their results against other teams over the last year are similar quality.  Against them Denmark won 1-0 and Portugal lost 1-0.

Since 2006 Denmark win the head to heads 3.5 to 1.5.

The main difference between them seems to be that Portugal pretty well have to win (and they have Ronaldo) - although Denmark would likely be happy with a draw on the other hand if they win they could qualify today.

Just another perspective but Denmark at odds of about 5.0 seems the value at this stage.

Da fuq. Just saw the errors in the thread title. Sorry about that.

So, one hour until the game. Demnark will play a defensive game, that's for sure. They'll be more than happy to grab a point in this game, so their strategy will be pretty much the same as against Netherlands. Not sure if Portugal is any better than Netherlands though, and they'll have some problems with this defense.

Funny how people/media keep bringing up the fact Denmark beat Portugal in the qualifiers 2-1 in Copenhagen but conveniently gloss over the fact that Portugal swept aside Denmark 3-1 in the reverse game in Lisbon.
