Put an early bet on under 6.5 goals, market has gone against me to 1.05 now, almost the same as under 5.5!!! Doesn't make any sense given it will end 3-1 max.  1.05 is amazing value.

If odds are decent I will take +0.75 goals.

How is the match looking for over 2.5 in Paraguay?
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:10 AM BST
HT 1-1. Haven't been really watching though, got it on mute.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:10 AM BST
Traded out O2.5 after the first goal
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:12 AM BST
I laid 0-2 to Jamaica in this game (traded out of my unquoted lay at 65 from 25) so I am green on all outcomes.
Report Betfair_Loser June 13, 2012 1:13 AM BST
this really does look like a 0-0 here. CAnt remember any keeper being troubled at all
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:13 AM BST
Also laid Jamaica at 1.8 backing when 3s, antigua at 7 will back 8-9
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:13 AM BST
Jamaica are the second best team
In this game an will love to take a point here
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:13 AM BST
Took a loss on O2.5, but backed 0-0 and still have that in green, have backed 1-0 0-1 each way too
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:14 AM BST
As I said Jamaica were never winning this match, they are a really poor team.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:15 AM BST
1-0 or 0-0 hopefully Happy

Report MiLiTo_22 June 13, 2012 1:19 AM BST
Now they will concede...deserve it after such a miss.
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:19 AM BST
I can see a home win possibly but 0-0 is the way to go, no chance of away win so safe on that.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:19 AM BST
no value in 0-0 now it's 2.6, especially with game opening up
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:20 AM BST
Jamaica are the worse team an really are fine with a point here, good draw or them, no desire to win game

Report MiLiTo_22 June 13, 2012 1:21 AM BST
took over 0.75 @ 1.94. Just 1 goal come on!
Report Betfair_Loser June 13, 2012 1:21 AM BST
cant imagine why anyone thought there would be goals here from the off, two pub teams
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:21 AM BST
complete fallacy that, if your playing football you are wanting to win the game.
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:22 AM BST
because its a football match...so you expect goals...
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:23 AM BST
A point will be a good point for them, going forward they are very very poor an dont have the composure or quality to get a goal, as I said earlier I guarnetee Jamaica don't score
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:23 AM BST
no, far from it, but saying a team are fine with a point cannot be a basis which to use when looking to place a bet - especially something as volatile as 0-0. Not for the want of trying, teams will look to score goals at all times.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:24 AM BST
Yes, it's a good point in context looking from the outside. But those players on the pitch, who we are investing in, will want to win the game
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:24 AM BST
unless 0-0 starts at 2.62 pre-ko Laugh
my markets have stopped telling me how much green/red i have on each outcome.  truly fcked now
Report Betfair_Loser June 13, 2012 1:25 AM BST
you expect goals if there is some decent quality out there not from two pub teams like these two on show. They couldnt finish their dinner
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:25 AM BST
yeah, if it starts at 2.62 questions should be asked. But now 2.62 is only a reflection of the liklehood over time left in the game that the result will be 0-0. Doesn't mean that the teams will not want to score.
Report Bruce Willis June 13, 2012 1:25 AM BST
Jamaica need to bring USAIN on
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:26 AM BST
Those players will be fine with a point an so will play like it, Jamaica won't have the mind frame to take a chance but have a good chance of conceding.
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:26 AM BST
I have laid Canada now, they have been disappointing every match I have seen.
Betfair Loser you say that but - Two quality teams can easily produce a 0-0 and 2 lesser teams will have a goalfest.
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:27 AM BST
antigua price finally drifting, laying out slow.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:27 AM BST
Quality is only in relation, if Brazil were playing these loons then yeah, goals'a'plenty. But still, too poor teams can still produce goals. But that's not too say they should be expected in every game, no more so than you would do in every PL game.
Report Betfair_Loser June 13, 2012 1:27 AM BST
depends on the match and circumstances but right from the off this looked like 0-0. not many chances, not much creativity and the few chances that have come have been wasteful
Report Betfair_Loser June 13, 2012 1:28 AM BST
i wish i layed jamica at 1.45! missed out on that
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:28 AM BST
All I'm saying is laying Jamaica win is best bet an betting on them to not score is the best bet an was from the first minute.
Report loadedgimp June 13, 2012 1:29 AM BST
mm, I opted for the safer bets to guarantee me my profits.  Had some heavy losses today, Goerges and Russia (could have greened Russia for +60 but got greedy and stuck with 180)
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:29 AM BST
Yes, I would agree, neither have showed a killer instinct infront of goal. But that doesn't mean they haven't been trying. So backing 0-0 on that basis I find always to be dangerous, as even one goal can void your bet, and that goal can come out of nothing, a mistake, 1 chance in a whole game.
Report MiLiTo_22 June 13, 2012 1:30 AM BST
Score one goal losers please...
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:30 AM BST
This is something I've learnt the hard way, backing 0-0, and something I won't set out to do again. I backed 0-0 at the start here to hedge any losses incurred in O2.5. I accepted a loss after seeing the poor quality, and have let it run.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:31 AM BST
2-1 Olimpia
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:32 AM BST
The bet was Antigua to win to nil and back the 0-0 as cover, anything that involved Jamaica not scoring, I think it was obvious they weren't winning this.
Report MiLiTo_22 June 13, 2012 1:33 AM BST
No win for Jamaica here and bye bye World Cup.

They get beaten to death and abused.
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:36 AM BST
It's clear they aren't too fussed about the win an scoring just by the way they play around the goal, no urgency and no really desire to grab a goal, obvious they don't want it :D
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:36 AM BST
Not sure, in the grand scheme of things not a lot. Think they get knocked out of WC qualifying, something that they weren't realistically going to anyway.

they cant get knocked out this early! this is the second game
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:38 AM BST
Vala - your too used to watching much higher standards of football. They are trying, but don't have the quality your used to seeing, to make that decisive break through.

Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:39 AM BST
I got at 13, couple of mins after match started
Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:39 AM BST
I'm very used to watching this standard, skill level may be down but desire is more visible an they haven't got players forward or had any urgent to get a goal, a point is fine an that's what they've played for.

Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:42 AM BST
They are trying, but mitigating circumstances in ability are not allowing them to show the same desire you see in say the PL. If you've ever played football, no matter how low of a level, you wanna win!
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:43 AM BST
Just a bit frustrating when it appears the opposite, especially when sat with a losing bet, I understand that!
Report MiLiTo_22 June 13, 2012 1:44 AM BST

Report Vala June 13, 2012 1:45 AM BST
I have played football and at a very good level, we were told to play for draws an that made it very easy to accept not scoring as long as you don't concede it's fine.
Report t.richards June 13, 2012 1:45 AM BST
Ever since I've started betting and trading on football properly, I do find it as a spectacle on the whole very boring.

Like this evening, after I traded out of the Poland game, and just watched, it wasn't that entertaining.

Agreed, depending on the circumstances of this game, and what a draw/win/loss would entail for Jamaica would affect how they've been tactically set out like you say.
