ITV's commentators are the most partisan whiners on television, even if the ref was 100% spot on they'd be complaining about every 50/50 that didn't go their way. They're infamous for it.

Think England have played well. They have kept it tight and defended well. 1-1 would be a good score on a first leg game (better than losing say...3-1 )
