theres been plenty of them and all have ended the same way

Djokovic is the only man who can beat Nadal in this event, realistically

the way he hung in there and saved those match points against Tsonga tells me he ll have too much for Fed

Would love a Djok-Nadal final....Should be far more competitive ...But I just have a bad feeling fed will go through

Out of interest, how long has the top seed played the 3rd seed in the semis for?

Noticed this today with Sharapova (2) playing Kvitova (4) in the womens semi.

Surely in the semis, 1 should play 4 and 2 should play 3?

FWIW though i think Djok will win. Fed's dropped sets to some average players in this tournament so Djok should get plenty of chances

Aye... you're half right, seed 1 is is at the top, and 2 at the bottom... BUT, 3 and 4 are not drawn randomly. 3 or 4 is either drawn in position 33 or 96.

It's to prevent the top 4 seeds playing each other before the semis.

Also....If you take a closer look... the 32 seeded players are placed so they don't face each other in the 1st OR 2nd round matches.

Seeded players will only start meeting other seeded players at the earliest in round 3. It's to keep the draws as balanced as possible.

normally I'd say when two guys have just played 5 setters, go for the 25 year old over the 30 year old.

but federer broke djokovic's streak in this last year, in a match where they were almost exactly even despite the 3-1 scoreline, and their results this time round have been pretty parallel.

so I just don't see how you can back djocko at 1.5x. for that to be value the true price would have to be 1.4x or lower, and can you honestly say that feels right?
