With Belgium's good young squad, there's a chance that an experimental England might lose but an 'embarrassing' 'football lesson' is a bit of a stretch.

Belgium's defense is tough and their midfield is like a must buy list on Football Manager, but of what I know, Hazard is yet to flourish on the international stage and Witsel has had an average season in Portugal.

Its a good test for England before we get torn apart by the French though. I don't think that comment is going too far

I can see why people haven't bothered to comment on this previously, I don't know why I have actually.

remember this 'gifted' bunch drew with montenegro 2-2 at home last week and didn't qualify for the euro's so as talented they may be they still need to improve as a team on the international stage.

completely agree is their only me that thinks we will get knocked out in group stage. defeat to france draw with sweden then we could have to play ukraine host nation in donetsk which our boys will bottle. group stage exit for me we look in worse postion than world cup 2010 and that was embarrassingGrin

Belgium play a style of football England could only ever dream of,They have quality all over the pitch,
i dont think any England player would get be good enough to get in the Belgian team if that were possible.

I have just broken a self-imposed rule after England beat Spain last year, and had a wager in a friendly. Cry

6.8 just seems too big to me. Grin

I'm on at 7.8 and thinking of going back in. Had my biggest ever win single when Croatia did us a few years back and this bears all the hallmarks of that game in my eyes. An underrated, improving talented team of ball players. Could well show us up.

FFS - I hadn't realised they had nee keepers.  Simon Missalot in goal?  Time for a re-think.....

(Prince) Phillipe Albert's run down on their squad.
