The difference is it was ferdinand or terry because of the problems between the two. The close games together meant that Hodgson will choose Terry. In scholes case it's not an either or situation. Not that i would choose Scholes.

Money for the likes of Darren Bent Paul Scholes Joe Cole and Bobby Zamora does scare me. I wouldn't have considered any of them.
